Ooredoo Family:

As the Senior Accountant – Fixed Asset you will be managing the General Ledger, Trial balance and other financial statements. They department ensures these are prepared on a timely basis; accurately reflect the financial position of the company and adhere to relevant accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

Independently handles external audit queries

Prepares and passes regular and more complex Journals: Areas fixed asset accruals, manual deprecation, Sub inventory journals relating to fixed assets in use.

Updates records relating to Subledgers: Areas Fixed asset sub ledger relating to movement of assets and status of assets (e.g. not in use) and Capex inventories

Reconciles subsystems and prepares GL transfer. Investigates and identifies causes of any reconciliation differences Areas Fixed Assets, Capex inventories

Gives comprehensive responses and takes proactive action in closing internal audit queries

Investigates analyses and Explains movements in Balances / P and L between different Periods. Prepares reconciliation of GL accounts in their respective area.

Prepare all schedules required for the financial statements

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in business, Finance or any related field

4+ Years plus with exposure to financial accounting in a large organization

Part Qualified professional Accountant (EG ACCA)

Good written and spoken Arabic would be an advantage
