The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>IK Liquids to Chemicals Development, a distinguished expert in the chemical business, is currently focusing on developing the production, shipping, and marketing of low carbon hydrogen and ammonia as an alternative route-to-market for their oil and gas resources. Within the company, the Chemicals Manufacturing Specialist will be part of the Corporate Engagements Coordination Division, responsible for establishing a clear stakeholders and Functional Organizations Interface Plan. The candidate’s main responsibilities will include ensuring integrated refining and petrochemicals manufacturing, operational readiness, and risk management. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Local Workforce Development Department, SABIC, external institutes, and national training centers to identify an appropriate mix of development, knowledge transfer, internal mobility, and hiring strategies.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assess integration readiness across all LTC projects.</li> <li>Oversee the manpower staffing strategy and development.</li> <li>Monitor Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards and performance and establish control.</li> <li>Establish Internal Assessment Procedures for the programs.</li> <li>Indicate process interactions at the Refinery/Chemical Plants Interface.</li> <li>Collaborate with national training centers to develop and train Saudis, preparing a highly motivated workforce for the LTC program.</li> <li>Provide support for commissioning and start-up activities, commissioning readiness, and maintenance activities.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</strong></li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.</li> <li>15+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, with at least five years in Operational Readiness.</li> <li>Thorough understanding of plant operations, process technologies, business drivers, cost drivers, and feedstock sensitivities.</li> <li>Working knowledge of chemicals markets and dynamics.</li> <li>Detailed understanding of product properties, customer applications, and requirements.</li></ul>
