The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are currently seeking a Strategy & Market Analyst to become a part of our Strategy & Long-Term Planning Division within the Power Systems Planning Department.</p> <p>As the Strategy & Market Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive analyses, encompassing strategic, financial, and operational aspects of the power sector and energy markets. Additionally, you will be tasked with evaluating peer group companies and organizations across various geographies that are relevant to our business scope. These analyses will serve as the foundation for constructing analytical and financial models, enabling you to develop valuable insights into the strategies and performance of peer group companies.</p> <p>Your expertise and analytical skills will play a crucial role in driving informed decision-making and strategic planning within the organization. By continuously assessing and monitoring the power sector landscape and energy market trends, you will contribute significantly to the development of robust strategies that align with our long-term goals and objectives.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Gather, research, and draw insights into technology trends, strategic choices, and markets.</li> <li>Conduct economic and feasibility analysis of potential strategic options for PS, with guidance from Specialists/Consultants and other subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed.</li> <li>Prepare presentations for Management and other relevant audiences, and compile reports, newsletters, and other publications as required.</li> <li>Maintain and regulate the content of the digital strategy library appropriately.</li> <li>Construct peer group intelligence analyses, models, and insights, along with strategic studies and benchmarks periodically.</li> <li>Identify appropriate sources for information and refresh the contents of intelligence analyses periodically.</li> <li>Support the preparation of comprehensive PS Strategy Updates.</li> <li>Assist in the preparation of presentations related to strategy, planning, and competitor intelligence as required.</li> <li>Produce slide packs, scenario papers, and engagement materials for communication with Management and the Department.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in the Electrical field.</li> <li>An MBA is preferred.</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.</li> <li>Preferred experience in the energy value chain, Oil & Gas (O&G), power, and gas industries.</li> <li>Essential experience in modeling, specifically financial and business operations.</li></ul>
