This is where you can do your best work.<br><br>Join us at the intersection of saving and sustaining lives—where your purpose accelerates our mission.<br><br>Hey, you’re a VIP!<br><br>Are you the Materials Value Improvement Program (VIP) project manager who can lead a team of cross-functional stakeholders to implement cost-saving initiatives?<br><br>We’re seeking someone who can execute procurement strategies that achieve the company’s cost-reduction objectives!<br><br>The ideal candidate will thoroughly understand procurement practices, possess excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and have a track record of successfully driving cost-reduction initiatives.<br><br>The VIP project manager should also have excellent project management skills and develop and maintain positive relationships, including R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.<br><br>The role is part of Baxter’s Procurement Organization and reports to the Global Director of Procurement strategy execution.<br><br><strong>What will you be doing?<br></strong><ul><li>Implement procurement strategies to achieve cost-reduction objectives<br></li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and ethics in procurement standards<br></li><li>Build and manage procurement reporting to supervise cost savings pipeline and project performance metrics<br></li><li>Filter VIP projects through the prioritization process<br></li><li>Support the development of cost savings estimates and feasibility potential for VIPs in the Initial and Concept phases<br></li><li>Develop or support VIP financial business case development to resolve cross-functional resource and budget requirements<br></li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives<br></li><li>Contact parties involved and take vital action to resolve problems with internal departments and vendors (ex. Distribution). Take proactive steps as appropriate.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>What will you bring?<br></strong><ul><li>Expert with at least a Bachelor’s degree with validated ability in Procurement/Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, ideally in the pharmaceutical and/or Medical device manufacturing environment.<br></li><li>Proficient English speaker (French language ideal).<br></li><li>Strong project manager with planning and interpersonal skills, having hands-on experience implementing Lean Thinking, Lean Tools and Kaizen events to drive Lean improvements in the execution phase.<br></li><li>A change champion by developing associates and establishing an open and proactive discussion environment.<br></li><li>Outstanding communication, negotiation, organizational, problem-solving, facilitation, and presentation skills are important for success.<br></li><li>Dedication to growing and developing an inclusive and diverse workforce.<br><br><br></li></ul>If this sounds like you, apply today!<br><br><strong>Reasonable Accommodations<br><br></strong>Baxter is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
