<p><strong>Our client is leading financial institution looking for a clearing Risk Specialist to manage all the setups in Clearing System including PCCP system. The setups include instruments, accounts, margin/risk parameters and collaterals among other parameters in PCCP system and Monitor and manage, including CCP’s risk exposures to Clearing Members.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities will include:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Lead the development and implementation of Clearing & Risk Strategy, ensuring accessibility of services to the customers.</li><li>Manage all the setups in Clearing System including PCCP system. The setups include instruments, accounts, margin/risk parameters and collaterals among other parameters in PCCP system.</li><li>Manage all the post-trade activities including PCCP system.</li><li>Monitor and manage, including CCP’s risk exposures to Clearing Members.</li><li>Set margins and update other risk parameters including PCCP system</li><li>Propose risk policies and risk models for senior management’s approval</li><li>Review all risk policies and propose policy amendments</li><li>Review and back-test risk models used in CCP and propose to fine-tune risk models if necessary.</li><li>Risk control – analyze risk exposures of clearing members to clearing house (CCP) and recommend risk mitigation measures; set margin rates based on market volatilities.</li><li>Risk policy – compile, review and amend the risk policies</li><li>Risk model – propose risk models for margining, stress test and collateral evaluation</li><li>Risk validation – review risk policies and validate risk models by using back-testing and other analytical methods.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Skills Requirement:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree majoring in Business Administration/Management, Business Operations Management, or relevant discipline.</li><li>Master’s Degree in the same disciplines or MBA is preferred</li><li>Professional certification in financial analysis is good to have.</li><li>Minium 8 years of experience in a similar field with a regulator or exchange in an established securities market</li></ul>
