<strong><u>About The Role</u></strong><p><br></p>Are you detail-oriented, highly organized, and have a passion for managing contracts? We are currently seeking a Contracts Specialist to join our dynamic team! As a Contracts Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing the contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, and facilitating effective negotiations.<p><br></p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Monitor and measure defined KPl’s to ensure they meet the agreed service level targets.</li><li>Initiate contracts depending on services required from retail perspective. Negotiate with suppliers for operational Terms & Conditions.</li><li>Be the point of contact from QDFC and liaise with the QR Contracts team, to ensure agreements are in line with QR requirements.</li><li>Suggest ways to improve the entire contractual processes and ensure good relationship with potential suppliers/customers alike.</li><li>Implement operational procedures, processes and governance supporting the QDFC management contractual process.</li><li>Liaise within management and operational teams and internal departments such as Purchasing and Finance to report performance issues on supplier performance and take necessary action to resolve such issues.</li><li>Identify service breaches/gaps and take suitable action in order to resolve such issues.</li><li>Initiate SLA review and amendments in accordance with company requirements to ensure supplier/provider meets required standards.</li><li>Improve quality of contracts to the benefit of the company by understanding and modifying certain contractual terms and assuring an “all covered” work product.</li><li>Support Purchasing in re-negotiations (where required) depending on the rates associated to services as per global practice and ensure that QDFC enters in to a continuous, productive and cost-effective business. Identify and mitigate areas of concern affecting the contracts.</li><li>Manage Contract approvals/renewals in line with approval hierarchy set by the company.</li><li>Analyse and approve or reject requests for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules.</li><li>Analyse price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonableness of prices; review and interpret contract provisions to achieve cost efficiencies and reductions where feasible.</li><li>Serve as a primary liaison with contracting representatives to ensure compliance with contract specifications and resolution of problems and issues, as they arise.</li><li>Research legislation and regulations to ensure contracts are current and in compliance; possess knowledge of legal requirements, rules regulations and procedures for setting up various type of entities like joint ventures, government contracting experience, etc.</li><li>Identify and drive category opportunities in conjunction with client departments and the Category Manager constructively challenging requirements and scope of work to ensure that services procured reflect the best ROI for the business.</li><li>Ensure that QR Group’s interest are protected during the contract drafting, negotiation and finalization process, and highlight risks (if any) for Management decision-making.</li><li>Lead end-to-end sourcing engagements with internal clients and suppliers.</li><li>Meet QDFC needs, acts professionally, shows initiative and represents the team, department and organization positively.</li><li>Develop strong supplier relationships with key global providers, ensuring that suppliers deliver as per their contractual obligations with a focus on long term supplier relationship and performance management.</li><li>Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><strong><u>About you:</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience</li><li> Relevant contractual experience.</li><li> Supply-chain experience.</li><li> Experience in handling contracts – contracts management or relevant organizational experience dealing with contracts and supplier Management.</li><li> Commercial or Operational experience within the retail industry.</li></ul>
