They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company’s financial strategy and operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting our mission towards a greener future. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEO</li><li>Support the financial planning and analysis efforts</li><li>Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits</li><li>Prepare financial statements and reports</li><li>Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions</li><li>Manage relationships with banks</li><li>Financial Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and financial expertise to develop and execute the company’s financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.</li><li>Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.</li><li>Financial Analysis: Analyze key financial data, generate insightful reports, and provide recommendations to optimize operational efficiencies and profitability.</li><li>Capital Management: Oversee capital allocation and investment decisions, monitor cash flow, and optimize working capital to support business objectives.</li><li>Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, investors, and regulators, cultivating strong relationships and ensuring transparent communication.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Strong finance-based analytical skills</li><li>CPA or MBA preferred but not required</li><li>A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with significant exposure to heavy industries, such as shipbuilding, maritime, or related sectors.</li><li>Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards, risk management, and compliance.</li><li>Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with various stakeholders.</li><li>A passion for sustainability and commitment to environmental responsibility.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Join our mission to revolutionize the vessel recycling industry with your financial acumen and experience!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>To Apply:</strong></p><p>If you are ready to take on this exciting challenge and contribute to a sustainable future, please email your resume, cover letter, and salary expectations to career@wreckdock.com.
