<p>As a Frontdesk Executive, you will act as the first point of contact for customers and salon staff. Your responsibilities include greeting customers upon their arrival, answering clients’ questions about services via phone, email or in person and processing transactions. To be successful in this role, you should be highly organized and able to manage clients with grace, even during peak demand. Ultimately, you will help boost our reputation by building friendly, trusting relationships with customers.</p><p> </p><p><strong><u>What you’ll do</u></strong></p><ul><li>Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner.</li><li>Walk clients to the proper beauty station and inform the assigned staff on their arrival.</li><li>Tending to customer needs, inquiries, and complaints.</li><li>Offer beverages and chat with clients who are in the waiting area</li><li>Informing hairstylists, barbers, assistants and technicians about customer appointments and requirements.</li><li>Managing phone calls, emails, deliveries, and office inventory.</li><li>Processing bookings and cancellations, and managing appointment schedules.</li><li>Confirming schedule, services and booking with staff.</li><li>Process orders with suppliers</li><li>Ensure that the salon have enough supplies – from stationery to salon materials.</li><li>Ensuring that the reception area is kept clean and professional.</li><li>Arrange, report, and attend to any maintenance work required in the salon.</li><li>Assisting with marketing and sales by providing customers with information on promotions and new products and services.</li><li>Cross-sell services and products when appropriate (e.g. through informative brochures and gift cards)</li><li>Processing transactions and issuing receipts.</li><li>Perform and assist on any administrative tasks such as filing, updating records, and logging transactions.</li><li>All other tasks deemed necessary to ensure the smooth process of the salon operation.</li></ul><p><strong><u> </u></strong></p><p><strong><u>You’ll love this job if you</u></strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Are A team player – oriented people with positive, upbeat demeanor and passion for quality service.</li><li>A highly engaged and focused team member.</li><li>Are highly trustworthy, discreet and ethical.</li><li>Have an eye for detail and highly organized with strong sense of prioritization.</li><li>Are very good problem-solving skills.</li><li>Can work within a dynamic environment.</li><li>Are a positive and proactive person with the ability to innovate with new ideas as well as enthusiastic learner.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><u>What you’ll need</u></strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in a high-end salon is a plus.</li><li>Strong experience as a Frontdesk Executive or Salon Receptionist, or a similar role.</li><li>Ability to handle staff aand customer requests and complaints with elegance.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong organization and analytical skills.</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills.</li><li>Customer-oriented individual and an outstanding problem-solver.</li><li>A keen eye on details.</li><li>Good time management skills.</li></ul><p> </p><p><u> </u></p><p><u>About Us</u></p><p><br></p><p>CHALK, the first of its kind hair salon for rebels, creative thinkers, and disruptors has launched in Alserkal Avenue, the heart of the arts and culture community in the UAE.
