<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>This role will be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing activities of our freight forwarding division. Additionally, the successful candidate will lead ad hoc projects, such as 3PL partnerships in GCC countries, prepare presentations for top management, and develop innovative ideas to leverage technology tools for increased productivity and cost reduction. The Supply Chain Projects and Sales Manager will also play a key role in building the strategy for our Freight Forwarding business unit to achieve sales and gross profit targets. This position will involve managing a sales team of five individuals and collaborating with the HR team for hiring and building team structures.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>1. Sales and Marketing Leadership:</strong></p><p>- Lead and manage the sales and marketing activities of the freight forwarding division.</p><p>- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.</p><p>- Oversee the sales team, provide guidance, training, and support to maximize their performance.</p><p>- Foster strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and drive customer acquisition.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>2. Supply Chain Ad Hoc Projects:</strong></p><p>- Identify and evaluate potential 3PL partnerships in GCC countries to expand company businesses.</p><p>- Prepare detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for successful execution.</p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of projects.</p><p>- Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and provide regular updates to senior management.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>3. Technology and Innovation:</strong></p><p>- Identify opportunities to leverage technology tools to enhance productivity and reduce costs.</p><p>- Conduct research, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend suitable solutions.</p><p>- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement tech-driven initiatives and process improvements.</p><p>- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>4. Strategy Development:</strong></p><p>- Develop the sales and gross profit strategy for the Freight Forwarding business unit.</p><p>- Conduct market research, analyze competitive landscape, and identify growth opportunities.</p><p>- Set ambitious yet achievable targets, and develop action plans to achieve them.</p><p>- Monitor performance metrics, evaluate results, and adjust strategies as needed.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>5. Team Management and Collaboration:</strong></p><p>- Collaborate with the HR team to define team structures and hiring requirements.</p><p>- Participate in the recruitment process, interview candidates, and make hiring recommendations.</p><p>- Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance.</p><p>- Promote collaboration and cross-functional communication to achieve business objectives.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. MBA preferred.</p><p>- Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the freight forwarding industry.</p><p>- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully executing complex projects.</p><p>- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales strategies that drive business growth.</p><p>- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities &amp; develop innovative solutions.</p><p>- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and industry trends.</p><p>- Familiarity with technology tools and their application in supply chain operations.</p><p>- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in building and motivating teams.</p><p>- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas and strategies.</p><p>- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</p><p>- Fluency in English is required. Understanding of Arabic is a plus.</p>
