<p>Our client who has expertise in logistics is looking to hire a Sales Executive with freight forwarding experience. The Sales Executive for Freight Forwarding plays a crucial role in generating new business and expanding the customer base for the company. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify potential clients, build strong relationships with them, and close sales deals to secure profitable shipments. The Sales Executive must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively promote the company’s services and exceed revenue targets.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Prospect and identify potential clients in various industries that require freight forwarding services.</li><li>Develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate leads and achieve sales targets.</li><li>Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.</li><li>Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.</li><li>Regularly communicate with clients to understand their shipping requirements and provide suitable solutions tailored to their needs.</li><li>Conduct product demonstrations and deliver persuasive presentations to win new business opportunities.</li><li>Negotiate and finalize contract terms, rates, and service agreements with clients to secure profitable deals.</li><li>Prepare regular sales reports and performance analyses for management review</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related field preferred.</li><li>Proven experience in freight forwarding sales or a similar field, with a successful track record in achieving sales targets.</li><li>Possess key sales accounts.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of the freight forwarding industry, including various modes of transportation (air, sea, road), customs regulations, and documentation procedures.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and address their concerns effectively.</li><li>Excellent negotiation and persuasive abilities to close deals and win new business.</li><li>Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.</li><li>Flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.</li></ul>
