Off-road driver (Remote Desert Driving)

Job Description

<p>Dome Group is looking for an experienced Off-Road Driver to join our team. As an Off-Road Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating off-road vehicles, such as 4×4 trucks or all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), in challenging and diverse terrains. Your primary role will be to transport goods or personnel to remote locations where standard vehicles cannot navigate.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Safely operate off-road vehicles in various terrains, including mountains, deserts, forests, and other challenging environments</li><li>Transport goods, equipment, or personnel to remote locations as per instructions</li><li>Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure their proper functioning and report any issues or defects</li><li>Follow safety guidelines and precautions while operating off-road vehicles and adhere to traffic regulations</li><li>Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption</li><li>Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient coordination</li><li>Monitor weather conditions and adjust driving techniques accordingly to maintain safety</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record</li><li><strong>Previous experience as an off-road driver or driving in challenging environments MANDATORY</strong></li><li>In-depth knowledge of off-road driving techniques, including proper vehicle handling, navigation, and recovery procedures</li><li>Ability to interpret maps, directions, and follow instructions accurately</li><li>Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding outdoor conditions for extended periods</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills</li><li>High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities</li><li>Willingness to adhere to safety regulations and undergo periodic training</li></ul><p><br></p>
