<p><strong>Summary:</strong></p><p>We are looking for a Cost Engineer with good Functional knowledge and basic Java for developing cost models. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a Team of Cost Engineers and Estimators developing, maintaining a Knowledgebase.</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><p>Min 3-4 years of C leopatra experience as a user</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Min 3-4 years of C leopatra experience as a user</li><li>Cost estimate experience in large projects </li><li>Good knowledge in fabrication offshore installation works (piping, structure, E&amp;I, etc.)</li><li>Knowledge of estimation tools such as @Risk, Que$tor and Cleopatra</li><li>Data analysis (PO’s, bids, offers, projects feedback, etc.)</li><li>Perform cost estimation of CAPEX/OPEX investments based on the technical scope of work of the project by using the information and means at disposal: Databases, estimation tools, private and professional experience, and external consultations.</li><li>Supervise, validate and perform the quality check of the estimations prepared by engineers (with regard to application of procedures, results, traceability, etc.).</li><li>Participate in the development and updating of the cost database based on: SAP procurement database and analysis of contractors offers, as well as other sources from the group and other oil companies.</li><li>Manage the development of databases, estimation tools, norms and global ratios.</li><li>Obtain feedback from cost realization of projects, analyze such data and enter the results into the estimation service databases.</li><li>Provide support to other departments within Engineering &amp; Construction to justify the estimations to the clients, assets or partners.</li><li>Assist other departments in Engineering &amp; Construction by performing cost analyses of estimations made by other parties.</li><li>Pursue the HSE objectives defined by his hierarchical superiors.</li><li>Participate actively in monthly cost review with other departments in Engineering &amp; Construction and Finance.</li><li>Provide coaching and training for any junior cost engineers in the team.</li><li>Perform risk analysis of any such estimation and run a sensitivity analysis if required</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Technical: </strong></p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Java knowledge</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to work independently and solve complex problems</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</strong></p>
