<ul><li>Prepares curated Mise-en-Place for each Beverage Service, showcasing premium, FIVE-Styled selections. </li><li>Supervises the Beverage Service with sensational Attention to Detail, ensuring a First-in-Class experience for every Guest. </li><li>Collaborates with the Culinary Team to craft unforgettable Food and Wine Pairings for regular menu updates. </li><li>Coordinates with esteemed Wine Purveyors to stay abreast of Wine Trends, resulting in an award-winning selection. </li><li>Maintains an industry-leading Wine List, updating it regularly to exceed Guest expectations. </li><li>Spearheads Special Projects to elevate FIVEs position as a boundary-breaking Market Leader in the Beverage Industry. </li><li>Actively participates in daily and monthly Food and Beverage Meetings, Contributing to the disruptive Vibe at FIVE. </li><li>Conducts one-on-one Sommelier Meetings to set and monitor Bold Targets and Achievements. </li><li>Creates an ambitious Budget Plan, meticulously recording and monitoring sales and costs records. </li><li>Develops and delivers ‘FIVE-Star’ FIVER Training Programmes, enhancing the FIVE Tribes knowledge and expertise. </li><li> Ensures Strict Compliance with all Licensing Laws, Setting the Gold Standard of Professionalism and Integrity. </li><li>Regularly inspects the Quality of opened wine in all Food and Beverage Concepts, ensuring FIVEs sensational Reputation is always Upheld. </li><li> Maintains and handles Beverage Service equipment with stunning Precision. </li><li>Implements a visionary Stock Control System, ensuring the proper use, storage, and cleaning of all equipment. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>A minimum of 3 years of Sommelier experience in a Luxury Hotel environment in the UAE. </li><li>The ability to Recommend Appropriate Wine Pairings to complement the flavours of various Masterpieces on the Menu. </li><li>Sophisticated Knowledge of wines, regions, grape varieties and wine-making techniques, taking every opportunity to educate both Guests and Fellow ‘FIVERs’. </li><li>Computer literacy, with a mastery of Word, Excel, and Outlook, while possessing an exceptional knowledge of Hotel PMS, specifically Opera. </li><li>An energetic Conversationalist, engaging Guests with lively discussions. </li><li>A strong understanding of Industry Regulations is beneficial. </li><li>A Proactive Nature, coupled with a meticulous Eye for Detail, ensuring every aspect of the Operation is curated to perfection. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leveraging strong verbal and written skills to engage effectively with guests, FIVE Tribe Members, and stakeholders. </li><li>Next-Level Organisational and Supervisory skills, effectively leading and inspiring the FIVE Tribe to New Heights. </li><li>Creative solutions and takes ownership of all duties and tasks assigned, while ensuring an unparalleled Journey at FIVE. </li><li>Exceptional skills in Improving Customer Satisfaction and Driving Profitability, showcasing a commitment to Industry-Leading Standards. </li><li> ‘FIVE-Styled’ Visionary thinking by finding creative solutions, while taking Ownership for all duties and tasks assigned. </li><li>Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
