<strong>About The Job</strong><p><br></p>We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to provide accurate and data-based information on the company and its competitors. You will research and analyse financial information to help the company make well-informed decisions, prepare reports, and monitor financial movements.<p><br></p>This is a rare opportunity to join an organisation that is currently going through an inspiring growth phase as we continuously deliver year-on-year.<p><br></p>As our Financial Analyst, you will have these main objectives:<p><br></p><ul><li>Perform financial reporting, forecasting, and operational metrics tracking</li><li>Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support</li><li>Create and maintain pricing models and coordinate with the sales team for any updates</li><li>Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews</li><li>Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements</li><li>Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting</li><li>Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts</li><li>Provide an analysis of trends and forecasts</li><li>Identify and assist in process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards</li><li>Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools</li><li>Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps</li><li>Maintain a strong foundation for financial analysis by creating forecasts and models</li><li>Microsoft Excel proficiency is required, as is familiarity with data query/data management tools (Access, SQL, Business Objects)<br><br></li></ul>You will be a good fit if you:<p><br></p><ul><li>Are aligned with our values of Belief, Transparency, accountability &amp; ownership, relentlessness, and Speed</li><li>Have a Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics or membership in a Professional Accounting body, with strong analytical and data-gathering skills</li><li>Hold 4-5 years of business finance or other relevant experience, with a high proficiency in financial modelling techniques</li><li>Are well-versed with Excel formulas and functions</li><li>Have strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills</li><li>Are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and are able to work independently</li><li>Are comfortable interacting with executive-level management<br></li></ul>
