This role sits within the company’s CARP (Control, Accounting, Reporting and Planning) unit which is part of the Finance department, reporting to the CFO. The candidate will provide accurate and detailed financial analyses, insightful reporting and strategic guidance to various stakeholders. S/he will prepare monthly reports, track KPIs, contribute to quarterly Board presentations, lead the preparation of the budget and annual operating plans and assist senior management with ad-hoc business-related analyses and simulations</p><p><br></p><p>S/he will work closely with all teams across the organization and directly with senior management. She/he will report to the Financial Controller based in the UAE.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Technical Competencies and Experience Required for Application</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Essential:</p><p>● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.</p><p>● Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in an FP&amp;A role.</p><p>● Sharp analytical mindset, flair for number crunching, and bringing out insights rather than just reporting numbers.</p><p><br></p><p>Preferred:</p><p>● MBA in Finance or an accounting charter holder.</p><p>● Ideally 7 – 8 years in an FP&amp;A role.</p><p>● Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure development sectors.</p><p>● Qualified accountant (ACCA or equivalent).</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Functional Competencies</strong></p><p>● Expert in financial reporting and analysis.</p><p>● Working knowledge of IFRS concepts.</p><p>● Robust experience in use of ERP systems.</p><p>● Clear and articulate communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.</p><p>● Excellent IT skills, especially in MS Excel and PowerPoint.</p><p>● Business acumen – shareholder relations.</p><p>● Presentation skills (specifically of data).</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Result Areas and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>KRA 1: Financial Planning &amp; Analysis:</p><p>● Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to evaluate the company’s financial performance, identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to management.</p><p>● Regular liaison with other functions and countries for business-related requirements, corporate queries, and management reports.</p><p>● Collaborate with various departments to develop annual budgets, forecasts and long-term financial projections.</p><p>● Monitor and analyze budget versus actual performance, identify deviations and provide explanations for variances.</p><p>● Support the development of financial models and scenario analyses to assess the impact of potential business decisions.</p><p>● Suggest and Initiate improvements in business processes to tighten internal control.</p><p><br></p><p>KRA 2: Reporting</p><p>● Preparation of the monthly Board update including key performance metrics and trends.</p><p>● Prepare quarterly Investor reports.</p><p>● Prepare the Flash Report at accounting close of every month.</p><p>● Prepare the Monthly Consolidated Financial MIS report.</p><p>● Prepare the Monthly Management Report.</p><p>● Provide meaningful insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making and support strategic initiatives.</p><p><br></p><p>KRA 3: Special projects</p><p>● Work closely with all stakeholders including shareholders to gather required financial information and supplemental analyses as required.</p><p>● Support the Corporate Finance team with ad-hoc requests (ex: Financial covenants tracking, assist in debt raising support).</p><p>● Manage NetSuite (ERP) related tasks (ex: Manage Chart of Accounts, Department-wise budget upload, IC approved budget upload).</p><p><br></p><p>Ready to make a difference?
