<p>ESOM Are Looking For: </p><p><br></p><p>(<strong>Electrical Technician</strong>)</p><p><strong>Location: Neom</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Main Purpose of the Job</strong></p><p>The Electrical LV Technician is responsible for performing electrical maintenance and </p><p>repair work related to low voltage systems and equipment. The main purpose of this </p><p>position is to ensure the smooth functioning and reliability of low voltage electrical </p><p>systems, contributing to the safety and efficiency of the organization’s facilities.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Main Competencies required for the Position</strong></p><ul><li>In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and installations, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively.</li><li>Working knowledge of electrical safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.</li><li>Analytical mindset with the capability to identify and address electrical challenges and implement solutions.</li><li>Good communication skills to interact with team members and other departments.</li><li>Proficient with the electrical measuring and testing tools.</li><li>Ability to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.</li><li>Ability to understand and apply basic mathematical skills.</li><li>Highly observant and analytical, and detail oriented.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Main Duties / Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Report to the Hard Services Supervisor / Electrical Supervisor at site.</li><li>Troubleshoot, repair and maintain the electrical distribution systems and equipment such as LV switch gear, electrical panels, ATS, DB, MDB, SMDB, MCC, PMCC, Circuit Breakers, lighting fixtures, power sockets, electrical controls, and starter motor controls, UPS, Battery Bank, Capacitor bank, earthing systems, etc.</li><li>Install additional equipment whenever needed which includes instruments, panels, racks installations, conduits installations &amp; bonding, cables laying, dressing, labeling, termination and testing.</li><li>Replace or upgrade low voltage electrical components as needed.</li><li>Operate power hand tools, multi-meters, meggers, thermal imaging camera and other specialized testing &amp; measuring equipment.</li><li>Read and trace electrical circuit drawings.</li><li>Identify the required spare parts and promptly request them from supervisor</li><li>Test and calibrate low voltage systems to ensure accuracy and functionality</li><li>Monitor the additional services done by subcontractors &amp; third parties </li><li>Conduct site inspections to assess electrical needs, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.</li><li>Perform all preventive and corrective maintenance activities.</li><li>Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering teams for complex electrical projects.</li><li>Timely Close the assigned work orders on MAXIMO and log the required details.</li><li>Inspect, test &amp; snag the electrical systems and log the issues on Aconex or similar software’s at site.</li><li>Maintain detailed records and history logs of maintenance activities and equipment status.</li><li>Respond to electrical breakdowns and emergencies promptly, and troubleshoot and resolve the electrical faults.</li><li>Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.</li><li>Ensure that PTWs, RAMS, LOTO and Energy Isolation Procedures are strictly adhered.</li><li>Capture the readings from the energy meters whenever required.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum qualifications / educational levels:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent qualification.</li><li>Formal technical education or certification in electrical systems or a related field.</li><li>Associate diploma in Electrical Engineering is preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum experience is required for this position:</strong></p><p>Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in low voltage electrical maintenance.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Selection Criteria:</strong></p><ul><li>Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team.</li><li>Proficiency in English and knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage.</li><li>Proven experience and expertise in low voltage electrical systems operation &amp; maintenance.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.</li><li>Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks related to electrical maintenance.</li><li>Troubleshooting, Problem-solving skills (identify the source of an electrical issue, repair a malfunctioning electrical device, and troubleshoot a faulty circuit.</li><li>Working Knowledge of MAXIMO, CAFM and ACONEX is an advantage.</li><li>Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.</li><li>Additional experience in operating &amp; maintaining ELV Systems such as FAS, CCTV, BMS, GRMS, ACS, LCS, AVS, PAS is a plus.</li></ul><p></p>
