<strong>Summary: </strong><p><br></p>The Technical IoT Technical Project Professional (TPP) is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IoT projects both internal and via managing external suppliers. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop plans, and execute projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IoT technologies and processes, as well as experience in project management and technical document authoring.<p><br></p><strong> Responsibilities </strong><strong> : </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Develop and manage project plans. </li><li> Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements. </li><li> Track project progress and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. </li><li> Communicate project status to stakeholders. </li><li> Manage risks and issues. </li><li> Resolve project and technical problems and roadblocks. </li><li> Gather and analyze data to improve project performance. </li><li> Develop and implement continuous improvement processes. </li><li> Working with cross-functional teams to provide authoring and stewardship of design and development of IoT solutions. </li><li> Managing project lifecycle stages inclusive of requirements, design, test plans, test execution and deploying IoT solutions. </li><li> Managing within the project budget. This includes financial performance and tracking ensuring that the project stays on budget. </li><li> Communicating with stakeholders. This includes keeping stakeholders updated on the project’s progress and resolving any issues that arise. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Desired Skill & Expertise </strong><p><br></p><strong> Technical Capability: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Understanding of IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, and HTTP is necessary. As an IoT TPM, you will be responsible for designing and developing communication protocols for IoT devices to connect and exchange data with each other. </li><li> Experience in Smart City deployments and Integration platforms. </li><li> Understanding of Data Architecture and ingestion methodologies to enable Data Analytics and Data Science. </li><li> Understanding of Cloud Technologies, Big Data and </li><li> Strong knowledge of Integration design and security at application and device level. </li><li> Technical skills. Must have a strong understanding of IoT and integration technologies, including embedded systems, networking, cloud computing, RestfulAPI, Message Queue’s, XML, Web Sockets, database technologies and mobile development. </li><li> Project management skills. Technical IoT TPM must be able to plan, execute, and deliver IoT projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. </li><li> Communication skills. Technical IoT TPM must be able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including engineers, product managers, and customers. </li><li> Problem-solving skills.
