Job Description
<p><strong><u>Summary:</u></strong></p><p>Responsible for ensuring Khoury Home’s network and systems are well-functioning and secure, and for monitoring the development and upgrade of applications. He/she is also responsible for identifying automation needs and ensuring electronic systems are created to optimize the processes within Khoury Home.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p>· Carry-out the day-to-day operations of the IT unit,</p><p>· Prepare the yearly budget of the IT unit and control the costs within the unit in order to comply with the budget</p><p>· Oversee the availability and well-functioning of all network elements and operating systems and ensure alignment to standards and user requirements</p><p>· Oversee resolution of network and system problems and ensure preventive actions to avoid recurrence of problems</p><p>· Manage the effective achievement of IT operations and infrastructure objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff in order to maximize subordinate’s performance</p><p>· Oversee the effective implementation of the infrastructure, data center and network in order to ensure the highest standards of service is provided</p><p>· Develop standard application guidelines and document development activities in order to maintain traceability and facilitate troubleshooting</p><p>· Initiate and facilitate upgrading of systems to ensure up-to-date application settings across all departments</p><p>· Conduct proper testing routines to ensure effective utilization of IT applications</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></p><p>Cisco, VIOP, Windows system/ server, Hardware Installation, Firewall Configuration, Networking</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong> 3 to 4 years in similar role</p>
