<strong><u>Description</u></strong><p><br></p>Our multicultural Payroll team is seeking for a Payroll Manager to join our FR Speaking countries’ Payroll team.<p><br></p>We are looking for a strong, strategic leader with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will lead a team based in multiple locations (Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Morocco).<p><br></p>This individual must be an experienced Payroll Tax and/or Social Insurance professional , who leads and structures the internal tax control system for payroll related business transactions across FR/MOR/MUS. This new role is an exciting opportunity on managerial level to manage internal-external Payroll Tax and Social Insurance Audits covering the region.<p><br></p>There is a great opportunity to develop, shape and install a systematic benefit tracking &amp; control processes to ensure complete compliance.<p><br></p>If you would like to join us to make a difference by driving and participating in challenging projects and to make sure our employees are paid accurately and on time we definitely want to hear from you!<p><br></p>As our FR speaking countries’ Payroll Manager, you will be responsible to:<p><br></p><ul><li> Manage, initiate and liaise with tax providers</li><li> Assist mobile employees in resolving tax matters related to their cross border or in-country assignment</li><li> Manage post transfer tax activities in alignment with mobility workflow</li><li> Support stakeholders for assignment tax and social security and pension structuring</li><li> Reviews payroll computations to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.</li><li> Perform audits of payroll tax computation and compliance</li><li> Cooperate and/or drive continuous improvement projects related to payroll processing</li><li> Coordinate year end activities in cooperation with payroll provider</li><li> Leading a team of up to 10 payroll analysts including hiring, developing and providing coaching</li><li> To build, inspire and motivate the team to raise the bar</li><li> To develop a professional payroll function which is scalable &amp; flexible to meet the company needs</li><li> To liaise with key business partners and senior management (including directors and vice presidents) in order to align priorities and define best in class processes to serve Amazon’s employees</li><li> Accountable to meet or exceed SLAs and KPIs for the French region</li><li> Accountable to ensure efficiency and efficacy of the internal controls over input and output data of the payroll systems</li></ul><p><br></p>We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:<p><br></p>Rabat, MAR<p><br></p><strong><u>Basic Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> 12+ years of in-house payroll experience</li><li> SOX compliance experience</li><li> Deep knowledge of French legislation</li><li> Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment</li><li> A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations</li><li> Experience running operations with high volume of transactional inputs and outputs</li><li> 5+ years of Payroll Vendor Management</li><li> 5+ years of people management experience</li><li> Proficiency in English plus French language is a must</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> CPA, CMA or CPP</li><li> PMP/PRINCE2/Agile</li><li> Private/Public Accounting mix preferred with direct finance experience in a large organization</li><li> Strong knowledge of ERP functionalities and capabilities</li><li> Kaizen leader</li><li> Six Sigma greenbelt certification</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Company</strong> – Support Services Amazon S.A.R.L.A.U.<p><br></p>Job ID: A2412871
