We believe that our differences enable us to be a better team – one that makes better decisions, drives innovation and delivers better business results.<p><br></p><strong>Title And Summary</strong><p><br></p>Vice President, Enterprise Strategy<p><br></p><strong>Overview</strong><p><br></p>The Cyber & Intelligence (C&I) solutions group leads Mastercard’s efforts to develop new solutions that build trust in the converging worlds of physical-world payments, digital payments and cybersecurity. Building upon a foundation of products that ensure payments are convenient, safe and secure, the C&I team’s remit is rapidly expanding to include new technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital identity and cybersecurity. Our customers include issuers, acquirers, merchants, processors, governments and consumers. We continue to create competitive advantage for Mastercard organically through the innovation of new solutions and inorganically through acquisitions.<p><br></p>The Vice President Enterprise Strategy reports to the SVP, Strategic Operations, and is a strategic sounding board and advisor to the President, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions. The role works with stakeholders on managing divisional performance, aligning plans across Mastercard central corporate functions, the office of the CEO and business units, and telling the C&I story to key internal stakeholders. The role supports the senior leadership team in creating strategy, growing revenue and executing on objectives.<p><br></p><ul><li> Do you have the ability to identify, influence, and facilitate outcomes by helping shape a strategic viewpoint?</li><li> Are you comfortable working with strategy, budgets, data and numbers, with the ability to create, interpret and visualize data into concepts?</li><li> Do you have outstanding verbal and written communication skills? Can you integrate multiple business factors to develop a compelling and differentiating story?</li><li>Can you create a sense of urgency and drive exceptional operational performance across a globally distributed team?</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Role</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Be agile and flexible to respond with urgency to the evolving needs of the business, C&I President and the global and regional Leadership Team</li><li> Partner with Leadership Team to create holistic objectives and advance the group’s strategies, while ensuring alignment with corporate strategy</li><li> Monitor execution of strategy and business plans, track divisional performance against goals and objectives</li><li> Support on the preparation and execution delivery of internal and external communications and thought leadership activities for C&I</li><li> Lead cross functional project teams as needed and coordinate efforts for specific initiatives across teams</li><li> Orchestrate collaborative discussions & joint summits across Business Units</li><li> Drive the development, review and submission of key business reviews including Operating Reviews, Executive and Board presentation</li><li> Collate input and create exec briefings on key talking points as a critical input to management committee meetings, Board meetings and other relevant forums attended by C&I President</li><li> Ensure that senior staff meetings are planned; agendas prepared; minutes recorded, and appropriate follow-up actions are taken</li><li> Establish and maintain open and fluid communication and working relationships within and beyond C&I, including with key Mastercard stakeholders (e.g., regional heads, SMEs, etc.) to ensure regular alignment and coordination, and successful project execution</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>All About You</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Ability to manage and influence across all levels within a complex environment with a degree of sound judgment and ‘backbone’ to voice a challenge when appropriate</li><li> Ability to manage sensitive information and provide a strong sense of discretion</li><li> Strong written, presentation and verbal communications skills</li><li> Demonstrated strong analytical skills, with ability to articulate outcomes, solutions and strategies from the data</li><li> Success evaluating complex strategic initiatives, facilitating, influencing and contributing to strategy design and advancement</li><li> Credibility with all levels of staff (up to and including senior executives)</li><li> Willingness to travel</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Corporate Security Responsibility</strong><p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p>All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must<p><br></p><ul><li>Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices;</li><li>Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;</li><li>Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and</li><li>Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.</li></ul>
