<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p><ul><li>The maintenance supervisor is reporting to the superintendent within the technical department. </li><li>He will supervise and oversee the repair and maintenance of all port equipment located in the terminal and the workshops through leading a team of technical staff, to ensure the availability of equipment for day-to-day operational use.</li><li>This includes organizing and co-coordinating the planned maintenance and repair of port equipment through liaising with relevant department supervisors, inspecting quality and performance specifications of completed work and handling more complex and difficult repairs.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Actively follow and promote the ADT Safety and Security policies, ensure that fellow employees and visitors are doing the same and the develop the awareness personal safety.</li><li>Be proactive in raising of potential safety issues.</li><li>Supervises the maintenance and repair jobs (electrical, electronic and mechanical) of all port equipment. </li><li>Ensure that breakdowns are attended to and rectified promptly within agreed MTTR and to make sure that follow-up work is undertaken as necessary and use the RCA if needed. </li><li>Develop skills and competencies of technicians under his supervision and suggest for training for his staff.</li><li>Improve man-hours utilization and hands on wrench time of technicians under his supervision.</li><li>Ensure quality of maintenance work performed, and history recorded.</li></ul><p> Monitor the maintenance and repair costs and KPIs within his team, to ensure they are in compliance with the terminal plans, and flag any variances to his manager so that budget/ cost variations can be investigated and controlled.</p><ul><li>Ensure effective handover of work.</li><li>Submits routine, critical inspection and monitoring reports by ensuring accurate and up to date information.</li><li>Collect &amp; possess all up to date software’s, PLC’s with required licenses.</li><li>Work closely with IT department to understand and analyse Automated Stacking Cranes/TOS interface.</li><li>Provide close collaboration with the warehouse and the inventory team to initiate requisitions for materials and spare parts and well optimization of stock.</li></ul><p> </p><p> <strong>Knowledge/ Skills</strong></p><p>Bachelor’s degree of electrical, electronic, robotics, automation engineering or similar field.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><p>5+ years’ experience in supervisory level for <strong>maintenance and repair in container terminals.</strong></p><p>5+ years’ <strong>experience in Siemens S7-300 and TMEIC systems.</strong></p><p>Experience with robotic process automation.</p>
