<p><strong>JOB CONTENT</strong></p><p>To perform the duties required to carry out the marketing strategies and assist in its development to meet the organizational objectives; actively carry out promotional activities; develop and maintain strong network of business relationships to lease out the Company’s land at favorable terms.</p><p><br></p><p>2. Duties and Responsibilities</p><p><strong><u>Operational:</u></strong></p><ol><li>Support the Senior Commercial Manager and Chief Commercial officer in executing marketing strategies to attract prospective customers to the port of Duqm.</li><li>Assist in promoting the Special Economic Zone in Duqm to attract domestic and international customers, contributing to the business development of the company.</li><li>Assist in market research and analysis to identify ways to attract future logistics and industrial tenants.</li><li>Provide support in organizing promotional events to increase customer traffic and provide relevant information about the company.</li><li>Assist in conducting pre-sales meetings and regular review meetings with current customers to foster successful long-term relationships</li><li>Identify the needs and requirements of potential customers to develop opportunities to attract them.</li><li>Create reports and presentations to update the Senior Commercial Manager and Chief Commercial officer on department activities and propose new ideas.</li><li>Help in expanding the client network by increasing referrals and attending conferences.</li><li>Support in negotiating and concluding contracts with future tenants in coordination with the Senior Commercial Manager.</li><li>Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on payables and receivables.</li><li>Foster and maintain positive relationships with contractors, suppliers, and customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.</li><li>Provide support in preparing and securing land lease contract documents.</li><li>Assist in updating the revenue budget to ensure adequate revenues.</li><li>Undertake any reasonable tasks assigned by the Senior Commercial Manager or management.</li><li>Create reports and presentations to update Senior Commercial Manager and Chief Commercial officer to update all activities in the department; create plans and proposals to demonstrate new and innovative ideas.</li><li>Develop new connections and business opportunities by maintaining and expanding the client network by increasing referrals and attending conferences.</li><li>Negotiate and conclude contracts such as sub-usufruct agreements with future tenants by liaising with Sr. Commercial Manager.</li><li>Review contracts and documentation and, if required, liaise with Senior Commercial Manager and Chief Commercial officer to assess the legal implication to the contracts committed to by the company that requires the attention of the executive management.</li><li>Ensure the dispatch of invoices are as per the agreements and follow up on all payables and receivables by coordinating with the finance team;</li></ol><p><strong><u>People Development:</u></strong></p><ol><li>Support department contribution to Port of Duqm’s Omanization targets through the setting of goals/KPIs in relation to the hiring and development of Omani Nationals into the workforce.</li><li>Embrace and drive continuous Human Capital improvements through business driven initiatives or as directed by Port of Duqm Human Resources Department.</li></ol><p>Complete the necessary tasks as requested by Management/Directors on people development areas. </p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p>– Bachelor’s degree in marketing or commercial or management. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><p>– 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience.</p>
