<strong>Position Purpose</strong><p><br></p>To a) be a passionate host and b) assist the Finance Operations Manager in managing the accounting processes at the hotel, ensuring 100% hotel compliance with all relevant laws, accounting standards, and company policies.<p><br></p><strong>Duties &amp; Key Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Carry out all assigned finance processes &amp; tasks accurately, timely, reliably and with a high level of trustworthiness and integrity</li><li> If assigned AP duties, pay all bills promptly after verifying that they have all the proper supporting documents. Ensure that the bills are accurate, and that they have been approved by the Finance Operations Manager / GM</li><li> Assist in processing billing for hotel guests and departments</li><li> Assist. in resolving outstanding balances</li><li> Assist in receiving and consolidating all cash and preparing for bank deposits</li><li> Maintain records of cash receipts and transactions and prepare General Cashier’s report</li><li> Help the Finance Operations Mgr. in analysing departmental costs and control factors to ensure the implementation of cost-effective measures throughout the whole hotel</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Relevant experience in finance &amp; accounting management</li><li>Ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems</li><li>Detail oriented and organized</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook with the ability to quickly learn new programs when required</li><li>University degree in Accounting or Finance</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>What will it be like to work for Hilton?</strong><p><br></p>Hilton is the leading global hospitality company, spanning the lodging sector from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.
