<p><strong>Endoscopy Technician</strong></p><p><strong>Medical City for Military and Security Services </strong></p><p><strong>Muscat, Sultanate of Oman</strong></p><p> </p><p>The Medical City for Military and Security Services (MCMSS) in Muscat, Oman is a Tertiary/Quaternary Care level city providing services to patients of different age groups in different specialties. </p><p> </p><p>MCMSS is seeking to appoint<strong> Endoscopy Technician, </strong>who is well trained and highly motivated individual to develop his/her professional career within the MCMSS. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Education/ Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>At least one year endoscopy technician course after high school.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Experience Post-Qualifications:</strong></p><p>At least 2 years working experience in Endoscopy Department in a recognized hospital. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Job Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Preparation of patients for endoscopy.</li><li>Assistance during endoscopy procedures.</li><li>Prepare and maintain the instruments and equipment used in endoscopy. </li><li>Clean, disinfect, calibrate endoscopy instruments and scopes according to the standards of the facility.</li><li>Maintains of endoscopic machine and equipment.</li><li>Technicians are typically work alongside other skilled workers and should be able to read instructions and communicate effectively. </li><li>Participation on the on-call rotation for endoscopy.</li><li>Participates in health education programs through orientation and scientific presentations.</li><li>Adheres to policies, guidelines, plans and programs of MCMSS.</li><li>Performs all duties assigned to his/her designation.</li><li>Performs all relevant interventions related to his/her field of specialization.</li><li>Completes and maintains his/her set of clinical privileges.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned/directed by the chairperson/head of the department. </li></ul><p> </p><p>Salary will be based upon qualifications, experience and availability of vacancies, using Oman Medical Bylaw.</p><p> </p><p>Interested candidates should apply with CV and letter of interest via the <strong>APPLY</strong> button.</p><p></p>
