NEOM will be a hub for innovation, where established global businesses and emerging players can research, incubate, and commercialize groundbreaking technologies to accelerate human progress.<p><br></p>As an Oral Wellness Planning Professional within NEOM Health & Wellbeing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives aimed at promoting and improving oral health within the community. Your role will involve conducting assessments, collaborating with stakeholders, and designing evidence-based programs to address oral health needs and disparities. As a passionate advocate for oral wellness, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall health and quality of life of our regional population.<p><br></p><strong> Key Accountabilities & Activities: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Oral Health Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments of the oral health needs and status of the regional population by analyzing dental health data, epidemiological trends, and relevant socio-economic factors. </li><li> Strategic Planning: Develop and implement regional oral wellness plans that align with the health authority’s mission and objectives. These plans should address oral health challenges, establish clear goals, and outline actionable steps to improve oral health outcomes. </li><li> Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with oral health professionals, dental clinics, community organizations, schools, and government agencies to build strong partnerships and ensure a coordinated approach to oral health promotion and prevention. </li><li> Program Development: Design evidence-based oral health programs and initiatives, including preventive education campaigns, screenings, fluoride programs, and access to dental care for vulnerable populations. </li><li> Health Promotion: Develop and implement awareness campaigns and educational materials to promote good oral hygiene practices and raise awareness about the importance of oral health in overall well-being. </li><li> Data Analysis and Evaluation: Utilize data analytics and evaluation methods to monitor the effectiveness of oral wellness programs and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. </li><li> Budget and Resource Management: Develop budgets for oral wellness initiatives and ensure efficient utilization of resources to maximize the impact of programs and services. </li><li> Policy Advocacy: Stay informed about oral health policies, guidelines, and best practices. Advocate for evidence-based policies and interventions that support improved oral health outcomes in the region. </li><li> Community Outreach: Engage with diverse communities to understand their oral health needs and concerns. Tailor programs to meet the specific cultural and linguistic needs of different population groups. </li><li> Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest developments in oral health, advancements in dental care, and emerging trends in oral wellness planning to enhance professional knowledge and expertise. </li><li> Support in the management and delivery of sector projects, as required, </li><li> Support in the preparation reports for leadership on the current and forecasted progress/completion of key assets and initiatives, with executive levels insights on key assets, requirements, and risks </li><li> Plan and lead assigned tasks and projects, and proactively monitor and mitigate risks </li><li> Provide periodic reports regarding project progress, challenges, risks, and mitigation plans </li><li> Actively take part of and contribute in workshops and activities related to health system design activities </li><li> Support on administrative tasks as required for contract management </li><li> Assist in developing scope of work documents to support new contract establishment or renewal of existing contracts </li><li> Support in monitoring and evaluation of contract delivery and project performance </li><li> Support in sector or division meetings, preparing meeting inputs (identifying discussion points, etc) and gathering input and feedback during and after meeting as it relates to strategy, planning, risks, etc. </li><li> Collate stakeholders’ feedback on issues, challenges and unmet requirements and develop action plans </li><li> Act as a role model for the sector in interaction with other sectors and departments </li><li> Assist team to perform their operations in accordance with set policies and procedures </li><li> Promote a high-performance working environment embracing NEOM’s values </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Background, Skills & Qualifications: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in oral health planning, public health, or health promotion. </li><li> Demonstrated knowledge of oral health principles, dental care practices, and preventive strategies. </li><li> Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret oral health data and research findings to inform program development. </li><li> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and promote oral health initiatives. </li><li> Experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation. </li><li> Proficiency in data analysis tools, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li> Passion for oral wellness and a commitment to improving the oral health outcomes of the regional population. </li><li> Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene, Public Health, Health Promotion, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.data science, Computer Science, applied mathematics, Finance/economics, Management information systems or Business Administration, Medicine, (or equivalent) is required </li><li> Master’s in public health, business administration, medicine or related topics is beneficial</li></ul>
