<strong><u>Job Title</u></strong><p><br></p>Maintenance Excellence Coordinator<p><br></p><strong>Job Purpose</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Support the implementation of structured continuous improvement (CI), best practices, cost optimization and benchmarking by implementing execution plans and training modules for Onshore and Offshore Maintenance departments.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Job Context &amp; Major Challenge(s) – I</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Role is concerned with implementing and improving Maintenance Department core business objectives, processes, procedures, programs and policies and corresponding business data (safety, quality, financial and operational).</li><li>Requires an understanding of how internal and external stakeholders interface and the ability to anticipate and proactively respond to potential coordination problems.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Financial Dimension</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>As defined for this job level in the Delegation of Authority and/or approved budget.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Safety Health &amp; Environment</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with Company Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSE&amp;Q) policies, regulations, and standards.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qatarization Program</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Contribute to the ongoing development of Qatari employees. This accountability is a condition of employment for expatriate employees at Company.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Key Job Accountabilities – I</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Coordinate efficiency and cost optimization related projects in line with Continuous Improvement (CI) governance guidelines to support Maintenance department objectives.</li><li>Participate in multi-disciplinary projects related to CI, cost optimization, best practice and benchmarking.</li><li>Coordinate small to medium-scale continuous improvement projects related to maintenance activities.</li><li>Develop and review relevant CI, cost optimization, best practice and benchmarking team presentations for the Operations Group.</li><li>Identify bottom-up or top-down cost optimization and/or Continuous Improvement opportunities within Maintenance functions and provide stewardship through to implementation and long-term sustainment.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Key Job Accountabilities – II</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Develop or support data collection plans for projects, benchmarking exercises or adhoc activities; validate data and provide any relevant insights for management review.</li><li>Coordinate change management requirements after project implementation to ensure sustained improvement.</li><li>Participate in assessment and health checks of selected Maintenance function processes for continual improvement.</li><li>Support the performance of situational analyses to define Maintenance strategic plans and objectives.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Knowledge And/or Experience – I</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>8 years’ work experience in the Oil or Gas industry within maintenance or engineering functions.</li><li>Experience implementing CI programs and Six Sigma project completion.</li><li>Experience in data analytics and the application/utilization of statistical software such as JMP or Minitab.</li></ul><p><br></p>With over 90 years’ combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world’s leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil &amp; Gas, Power &amp; Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
