<ul><li>Lead the Infrastructure development portfolio for a mega project in KSA|Work alongside a team of world class real estate/development professionals<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>About Our Client<br><br></strong>Our client is a development company focusing on large scale projects in the travel, culture & tourism space within KSA.<br><br><strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><ul><li>Offer strategic guidance on the establishment of Engineering and Infrastructure standards, and methodology for the entire program over all the locations.</li><li>Oversee the site technical studies & due diligence (including not limited to geotechnical, topo survey, environmental, services, axes/connections to the project land, and transportation/traffic and mobility strategy…etc.)</li><li>Provide technical input to the design, delivery, and operational teams, while reviewing the concept designs and infrastructure designs against the program requirements, scope of work, specifications, guidelines during design phases and construction phases for all engineering components of the program.</li><li>Review submittals from consultant/contractors related to master plan or/and any studies to ensure infrastructure design, specifications are optimized, while considering the operational requirements.</li><li>Evaluate requests, ensuring that proposed solutions are optimal and in keeping with client’s sustainability goals and vision.</li><li>Provide proposals/alternative and contribute to value engineering, suitability, feasibility and constructability of the design, constraints, and solutions that align with the program vision, budget time and quality.</li><li>Prepare self-study for issues that related to the infrastructure engineering subjects to qualify the decision-making process and evaluate various options (with input needed from related stakeholders).</li><li>Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, and provide the needed input for the planning, scheduling and cost estimating.</li><li>Ensure compliance with statutory, administrative, and regulatory requirements by laisse, direct and oversee the design progress form concept models to final and construction implementation, including assisting and providing support to the design consultants during the permit procedure related issues with public entities.</li><li>Periodically report on the status of infrastructure, permits and escalate key issues to the department’s management in a timely manner.</li><li>Work closely with the stake holders and GIS team to capture accurate land use permits information in the GIS system.</li><li>Identify potential risks, dependencies and interfaces between land use permit requests and prepare technical reports and recommendations.<br></li></ul><strong>The Successful Applicant<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s/master’s degree in civil/MEP engineering from an accredited college or university.</li><li>Must have + 15 years of working experience in infrastructure with well-known specialized master planning consultants/contractors. Experience with developers is an advantage.</li><li>Have experience urban masterplan development with a minimum area of 3-5 million square meters, with challenging topography and levels.</li><li>Strong Knowledge masterplan and infrastructure operational requirements to ensure constructability, sustainability, and optimization.</li><li>Knowledge of techniques, materials, and construction methods for development of various work areas.</li><li>Experienced with local practices and procedures as well as international master planning design codes and standards.</li><li>Relevant experience in the KSA and MENA region</li></ul><strong>What’s on Offer<br><br></strong>Lead the Infrastructure development portfolio for a mega project in KSA<br><br>Work alongside a team of world class real estate/development professionals<br><br><strong>Contact: Joel Thomas<br><br></strong><strong>Quote job ref: JN-072023-6132830</strong>
