Salla, a leading Information Technology and Services company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Api Integration Engineer to join our team.<p><br></p>As a Senior API Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that integrate various application programming interfaces (APIs) into our platform. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about software development, has excellent problem-solving skills, and is able to work in a team environment.<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> API Integration Designing: Design, the API integrations between various software systems, including third-party APIs and internal APIs</li><li> Requirements Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to understand integration requirements, data formats, workflow processes</li><li> Integration Testing: Conduct thorough testing of API integrations to ensure functionality, data accuracy, and error handling</li><li> Performance Optimisation: Optimise API integrations for speed, scalability, and reliability to ensure smooth data transfer even during high traffic</li><li> Security and Authentication: Implement security measures and authentication protocols to protect sensitive data during the integration process</li><li> Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for API integrations, including technical specifications, usage guidelines, and troubleshooting procedures</li><li> Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor integrations for performance issues, identify and resolve errors promptly, and provide ongoing maintenance and support</li><li> Versioning and Upgrades: Manage API versioning and handle upgrades while ensuring backward compatibility when necessary</li><li> Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure successful integration projects</li><li> Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest API technologies, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve integration processes</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field</li><li>Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in API integration and maintaining APIs </li><li>Familiarity with API protocols and standards, including REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and JSON</li><li>Experience with API testing tools and methodologies</li><li>Knowledge of authentication methods like OAuth, API keys, and JWT</li><li>Understanding of data formats like XML, JSON, and CSV</li><li>Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot integration issues</li><li>Strong communication skills both written and verbal, .and the ability to work with the engineering team on integration and architecture </li><li>Eagerness to learn lots of new technologies </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Benefits</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Training &amp; Development</li><li>Bonus</li><li>Work From Home</li></ul>
