<p><strong>Technical Sales Engineer Job Description</strong></p><p><strong>Position: Technical Sales Engineer</strong></p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong> As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be the primary technical resource for the sales team and play a crucial role in driving revenue growth. Your responsibilities will revolve around understanding customers’ technical requirements, providing product demonstrations, and effectively communicating how our solutions meet their needs. You will collaborate closely with the sales and product development teams to offer technical expertise and support throughout the entire sales cycle. This role demands a balance of technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building strong customer relationships.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol><li><strong>Pre-sales Activities:</strong></li></ol><ul><li>Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and technical requirements.</li><li>Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and capabilities of our solutions.</li><li>Respond to technical queries and address customer concerns during the pre-sales phase.</li><li>Prepare and deliver technical proposals, documentation, and specifications to potential clients.</li></ul><ol><li><strong>Solution Design:</strong></li></ol><ul><li>Collaborate with the product development team and consultants to understand the technical aspects of our products and services.</li><li>Develop customized technical solutions based on customer requirements and project specifications.</li><li>Assist in the design and implementation of proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of our solutions.</li></ul><ol><li><strong>Sales Support:</strong></li></ol><ul><li>Act as the liaison between the customer and internal teams, providing technical support throughout the sales cycle.</li><li>Create and maintain technical sales collateral, including data sheets, technical documents, and case studies.</li><li>Support the sales team in preparing proposals, quotations, and cost estimates.</li><li>Address technical concerns and objections raised by customers to secure successful sales closures.</li></ul><ol><li><strong>Relationship Building:</strong></li></ol><ul><li>Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their evolving technical needs.</li><li>Conduct follow-ups with clients to gather feedback and ensure their satisfaction with our products and services.</li><li>Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote our solutions.</li></ul><ol><li><strong>Market Intelligence:</strong></li></ol><ul><li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements.</li><li>Provide insights and feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions and market analysis.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferred in mechanical, aquaculture engineering or a related technical field.</li><li>Min-3 years of experience in the engineering field.</li><li>Background, previous experience in water filtration system would be advantageous.</li><li>Background, previous experience in animal life support system would be advantageous.</li><li>Knowledge of pumping systems, equipment, and technologies.</li><li>Familiar with P&amp;ID and PFD reading, understanding and preparation.</li><li>Strong understanding of technical concepts, software applications, and engineering principles.</li><li>Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Customer-centric approach with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.</li><li>Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.</li><li>Familiarity with CRM software and sales enablement tools is an advantage.</li><li>Good level of AUTOCAD, Solidworks preferred. </li><li>Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits, events, and conferences.</li></ul><p>ยท&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Fluency in English is required.
