Our team is driven by a shared commitment to excellence, and we believe in fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>As an Accountant/Secretary, your primary responsibility will be to manage financial records, process invoices, and handle accounts payable and receivable. On top of that, you will also be in charge of assisting with client communications, managing schedules, and providing administrative support to our legal team.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>What you’ll do:</p><ul><li>Manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly accounting reports</li><li>Handle the company bank accounts in various currencies, cheques, and petty cash,</li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations,</li><li>Collaborate with auditors and support financial audits as needed,</li><li>Maintain daily and weekly reports and submit them to appropriate personnel,</li><li>Maintain documentation and accounting procedures in accordance with company policies,</li><li>Create statements of account for clients,</li><li>Assist with general administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations,</li><li>Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel,</li><li>Provide direct administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, booking travel, maintaining the filing system, mailing, and shipping documents and packages, and updating the client database,</li><li>Purchase and keep an inventory of office and pantry supplies,</li><li>Handle a range of HR-related tasks, including payroll processing, employee leaves, and addressing employee needs,</li><li>Manage lawyers’ hours, premiums, and</li><li>Organize the maintenance of office areas and equipment.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>What we are looking for:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field</li><li>Proven work experience as an Accountant cum Secretary or in a similar role</li><li>Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)</li><li>Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Why Join Our Firm:</p><ul><li>We value our employees and offer a competitive benefits package, which includes:</li><li>Being part of a reputable law firm with a global presence</li><li>Collaborative and inclusive work environment</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and advancement</li><li>Competitive compensation package</li><li>Performance bonus</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>If you are a motivated and results-driven individual, we would love to hear from you!
