They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of “what if” scenarios to help future business planning decisions.<p><br></p>The Financial Analyst (f/m/d) is responsible for preparing the EMEA region forecast and budget of functional expenses, acting as business partner for Engineering and Sales and Marketing functions, with a focus on Selling and General and Administrative areas. He/ she bridges results and analyses trends, identifies risks and opportunities and potential areas of improvement. Responsible for maintaining the processes according to internal policies.<p><br></p><strong><u>Tasks Summary And Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Prepares forecasts and budgets and analyses trends in expense, revenue, and other related areas identifying business inefficiencies and potential areas of improvement, with recommendations for actions</li><li>Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations</li><li>Defines, measures and tracks productivity KPIs for Customer Solutions and Sales & Marketing organization</li><li>Creates a Calculation Model for the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) and provides quarterly updates of the achievement</li><li>Acts as the Finance Business Partner for senior management, providing the information and suggestions necessary for decision making</li><li>Interacts with colleagues from different company locations across EMEA, matching the bottom-up forecast with the top-down approach</li><li> Prepares financial and business-related analysis and research in areas such as financial and expense performance, project expenses, head count and cost of sales</li><li>Increases productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications; coordinating information requirements. Focus on continuous process improvements & simplification</li><li>Drives for process improvements within the EMEA Finance organization </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>What Your Background Should Look Like</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>University degree in finance / accounting</li><li>Experience of 2 years or more in forecasting or budgeting process or experience with working on different parts of the P&L is an advantage</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Strong problem solving, analytical skills and strategic thinking</li><li>Accurate, systematic, and independent work style</li><li>Ability to form successful working relationships quickly at all levels</li><li>Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organization</li><li>Ability to act comfortable around higher management</li><li> High customer Focused, drive for improvement as well as hands on mindset</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS is an advantage</li><li>Knowledge of SAP, BPC or similar</li><li>Advanced user of Microsoft Excel</li><li>Fluent in English both written and spoken, good knowledge of German would be an advantage </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><strong>Competencies</strong></strong><p><br></p>Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation<p><br></p><strong><u>About Te Connectivity</u></strong><p><br></p>TE Connectivity is a global technology leader enabling a secure, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
