<strong>Summary: </strong><p><br></p>The Business Analyst is responsible for a full range of activities which ensures the success of projects from an operational effectiveness and excellence across the concerned business Units and Departments. One would be required re-design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational/monetary effectiveness.<p><br></p>The Business Analyst’s primary objective is to design and assist in the implementation of technical solutions in a cost-effective way by understanding the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners.<p><br></p><strong> Main Tasks: </strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li> Track and evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implements solutions that will positively impact the company. </li><li> Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies. </li><li> Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. </li><li> Act as the functional expert on the specified business techniques and application(s). </li><li> Work directly with appropriate personnel to understand concept, objectives and approach. </li><li> Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. </li><li> Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports. </li><li> Document and communicate the results of efforts made. </li><li> Prepares routine reports (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, market share, etc.). </li><li> Analyzes trends and recommends adjustments address and/or capitalize on trends. <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Behavioral Requirements: </strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li> Master’s degree in IT or similar. </li><li> 5 years’ experience minimum in a similar position (Bank or Insurance sector). </li><li> Fluent French & English. </li><li> Analysis and reporting abilities. </li><li> Knowledge of Business Planning and Management; </li><li> Strong Communication and Presentation coupled with strong mathematical aptitude. </li><li> Customer Focus and Relationship Building. </li><li> Champion for Change. </li><li> Information and Technology Proficiency. </li><li> Strong Leadership Skills. </li><li> Problem Solving and Decision Making. </li><li> Technical Industry and/or Profession Expertise. </li><li> Show flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience.</li></ul>
