<p><strong>Role Summary</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking a Product Designer to join the Product Design team!, This role will be leading one of our Squad (Discovery &amp; CheckOut) on the Consumer side of Floward or helping on the vital work-stream focusing on the app that workers as Pickers, Florists, Packers, Drivers use every day to receive and process orders.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a high-impact and visible surface with opportunities to drive the future vision of Floward product and our core design language. This is perfect for someone who enjoys work with innovative ideas, complex UX problems, and creating new standards for visual design craft and quality!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Own design problems end to end, from initial concept through shipping and beyond</li><li>Build flows and prototypes to tackle complex UX problems at a scalable level not just one solution, and obsess over the details of visual and design</li><li>Run UX research to better understand the needs of our customers, find opportunities and translate insights into product requirements and meaningful action.</li><li>Design systems to make simple and elegant experiences</li><li>Work with product managers, engineering, and operations to define products and Identify future opportunities (requirements, strategic functionality, planning, and feature launches), not just translate them into design execution.</li><li>Partner with engineers to ship pixel-perfect designs</li><li>Mentor, grow, and guide design team members that consistently deliver on projects at different design skill sets</li><li>Ability to strongly articulate your design work and rationale to your peers and cross-functional team.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualification &amp; Experience</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Professional with more than three years of experience in Product Design.</li><li>Proven experience in working on scalable products, preferably across multiple countries.</li><li>Experience in coaching Junior Designers.</li><li>Work experience in startups is a plus.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Experience guiding UX and other design teams through the creation and application of UX strategies.</li><li>Deep knowledge of translating concepts into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.</li><li>A thorough understanding of research through conducting user interviews.</li><li>Strategic thinking and ability to set visions for product design and standards.</li><li>Ability to set UX processes that would guarantee the delivery of product experiences that fits customer needs in short iteration cycles.</li><li>Ability to turn user research into representative personas, user stories, user journeys, storyboards, and other design-thinking representations.</li><li>A strong portfolio linking their design decisions to successful outcomes in a product.</li><li>Growing and mentoring product designers.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Floward</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Founded in 2017, Floward is an online flowers and gifts company; we pride ourselves on creating a seamless experience for our clients and making sending flowers and gifts as enjoyable as receiving them.
