<p>In the region since 2002, OMD was formed by combining the media interests of Omnicom’s three advertising networks. Today, it is the largest media specialist network in the Middle East in terms of billings. It has offices in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, Lebanon, and North Africa. It specializes in the management of its clients’ media investments in terms of planning and buying, as well as providing strategic communication consultancy services through its teams and specialist service units.</p><p><br></p><p>We are currently seeking a <strong>Manager – Planning</strong> to join our team at our Dubai HQ in Media City.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>A typical day will include:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Providing high standard and quality service to our clients in understanding their requirements and needs. </li><li>Working with the team to create <strong>media plans</strong> that integrate all aspects of media: TV, Print, Radio, Outdoor, Interactive and Emerging Technologies </li><li>Devising <strong>both</strong> online and offline media strategies fulfilling client/brief objectives </li><li>Developing and managing Media budgets </li><li>Liaising with the Investment team to ensure that buying commitments are achieved </li><li>Responsibility for supervision and line management of junior team members of the planning team </li><li>Providing recommendation and analysis on targeting, geography, scheduling, support level, and budget </li><li>Executing campaigns on a timely basis and prepare campaign summary and analysis </li><li>Maintaining media schedules and track the placement of broadcast, print, internet, and OOH buys to ensure accuracy emerging media opportunities and incorporate them into media plans </li><li>Maintaining communication/integration with multiple agency partners (creative, account, web, promotions, media buying, research) </li><li>Managing relationships with vendors </li><li>Effectively applying rationale and logic when constructing media plans, create competitive reports using in-depth analysis and understanding of implications </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>To land this position you must have:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>3/4+ years media specific experience </li><li>Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) </li><li>Background in planning of <strong>both online/offline</strong> media campaigns </li><li>Strong analytical and organization skills with excellent attention to detail </li><li>Should be Google Certified (through Google Certified Professional program) </li><li>Ability to meet stringent deadlines and work under pressure </li><li>Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills </li><li>Solid background in qualitative and quantitative planning marketing research and its application for brand building and marketing initiatives </li><li>Project management skills and abilities </li><li>Computer proficient in MS Office</li></ul>
