<strong><u>Overview</u></strong><p><br></p>We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Terminal Operations Manager to oversee all terminal operations functions related to day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in contributing to the operations work steam within terminal operations and engaging with the respective stakeholders on duty accordingly. The Terminal Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all duty managers read and understand the operational work instructions and constantly assess the team to ensure continuous improvement.<p><br></p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Manage and oversee all the terminal operations functions on a daily basis.</li><li>Contribute to the operations work stream within terminal operations, ensuring efficient and effective operations.</li><li>Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, including duty managers, to ensure smooth coordination of operations.</li><li>Develop and implement operational work instructions, ensuring they are communicated clearly to duty managers and team members</li><li>Assess the performance of the team regularly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for continuous enhancement.</li><li>Maintain a high level of operational standards, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.</li><li>Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication and employee engagement. </li><li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in terminal operations, implementing best practices where applicable.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><strong>Requirements:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with min of 6 years of job-related experience.</li><li>Proven experience in terminal operations management or a related role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of terminal operations processes, including container handling, vessel operations, cargo management, etc.</li><li>Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Knowledge of safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards.</li><li>Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.</li></ul>
