Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL) is the logistics provider of the world with over 520,000 employees in more than 220 countries and territories.<br><br>DHL Supply chain offers standardized Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage Specialist as well as highly specialized end-to-end solutions to customers in a wide range of industries globally.<br><br>Currently, we are seeking a dynamic person to take on the role of IT Strategy and Innovation Unit Lead in Al Khobar.<br><br>Objective:<br><br><ul><li>Responsible for providing business unit partners and CIOs with guidance on IT enablement strategies, aligning business.</li><li>Support the Global Lead of Innovation in the creation of and execution of an Innovation strategy aligned with the overall business strategy.</li><li>Make sure that Innovation is infused across the organization transforming how the business operates on a day-day basis and avoiding creating silo ‘islands of excellence.<br><br></li></ul>Duties Responsibilities:<br><br><ul><li>Identify and analyze overall business strategic direction, objectives and goals.</li><li>Based on key industry and market trends impacting the business, identify focus areas for e.g.: Cloud, Sourcing Strategy, Data &amp; Analytics.</li><li>Assess how well the current IT capabilities are aligned to meet the current &amp; future business requirements.</li><li>Define an overall IT Strategy.</li><li>Define an overall sourcing strategy to maximize value &amp; IT Investment plan.<br><br></li></ul>Qualifications and Skills Required:<br><br><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in IT, finance, accounting, computer science, economics, or business administration.</li><li>8 years of experience in managing IT support functions.</li><li>Conducting design sessions, interpreting business requirements, performing system integration, and assisting with user acceptance testing and issue resolution, system integration with supply chain solutions.</li><li>Strong business acumen.</li><li>Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Managing IT transformations.</li><li>Self-motivated and possess excellent communication skills.</li><li>Proven ability to comprehend business processes, converse with business subject matter experts, and apply technology to solve business problems.</li><li>Strong affinity for IT and desire to learn new technologies.<br><br></li></ul>As the world’s largest contract logistics specialist, we create competitive advantage for customers through customized logistics solutions based on globally standardized warehousing, transportation and integrated services components.
