We are looking for a Director of Marketing and Communications who can be responsible for establishing relationships with the media, developing strategic marketing plans, and handling public relations issues that arise internally or externally.<br><br><strong>A little taste of your day-to-day<br><br></strong>Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:<br><ul><li>Develop, maintain, and update Brand Management, Marketing and Communication Strategies.</li><li>Design and implement a comprehensive Media Plan which includes online media strategy with an emphasis on social media.</li><li>Monitor and oversee brand development.</li><li>Communicate internally to all internal and external stakeholders the hotel Brand Guidelines and Strategies.</li><li>Review and assess all actions in all media channels and ensure that they adhere to all branding guidelines.</li><li>Monitor evaluations or the launch of campaigns including developing press releases (as and till the extent required)</li><li>Initiate and execute all external communication activities of the hotel in alignment to IHG guidelines and procedures.</li><li>Provide support to approved spokesperson(s) of the hotel.</li><li>Coordinate and organize interviews with media if relevant to media plan.</li><li>Monitor and assess media threats and risk and design specific strategic actions to mitigate those risks when applicable.</li><li>Design and develop the layout and content of all internal communication.</li><li>Generate innovative ideas to disrupt the way of working in the department as well as the entire process of marketing strategy design and depiction of corporate brands in the market.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What We Need From You<br></strong><ul><li>Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Management.</li><li>Postgraduate degree would be considered preferably.</li><li>Professional certification would be considered an additional asset.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of work experience as Communication &amp; Marketing Director in multinational or regional companies.</li><li>Solid experience of minimum 6 years in all media platforms social media, online, Traditional (Above the Line &amp; Below the Line).</li><li>Experience in Hospitality sector.</li><li>Communication skills with emphasis in influencing others, presentation skills along with public speaking.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and knowledge of digital.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Can Expect From Us<br><br></strong>We give our people everything they need to succeed.
