Job Description
The Facility and Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of facilities and communities within a real estate company. This role involves ensuring the smooth functioning of properties, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance, as well as fostering a positive community environment.<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br>1. Property Management: Manage the overall operations of facilities and communities, including residential complexes, commercial buildings, or mixed-use developments.<br>2. Maintenance Oversight: Oversee maintenance activities such as repairs, renovations, landscaping, cleaning services, waste management, and security systems to ensure properties are well-maintained.<br>3. Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop annual budgets for facility operations and community events/activities. Monitor expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.<br>4. Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors such as contractors, suppliers, security personnel, or cleaning companies to ensure quality service delivery.<br>5. Tenant/Resident Relations: Foster positive relationships with tenants/residents by addressing concerns promptly and providing excellent customer service.<br>6. Lease Administration: Assist in lease administration processes including lease renewals, rent collection, tenant move-ins/move-outs, and resolving lease-related issues.<br>7. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by conducting regular inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards or violations.<br>8. Community Engagement: Organize community events/activities to promote a sense of belonging among residents/tenants while enhancing the overall living/working experience.<br>9. Emergency Preparedness: Develop emergency response plans for various scenarios (e.g., fire drills) and coordinate with relevant authorities during emergencies or natural disasters.<br>10. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on facility/community performance metrics such as occupancy rates, maintenance costs/expenses incurred.<br><br>Qualifications:<br>- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred<br>- Proven experience in facility management or property management roles<br>- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations<br>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants/residents, vendors, and team members<br>- Proficient in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting<br>- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment<br>- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
