<br><br>Jumeirah Group, a member of Dubai Holding, has been making a distinguished impact on the global hospitality market for more than two decades with its Stay Different™ brand promise.<br><br>Its award-winning destinations, such as the iconic Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, position service beyond expectations, elevated signature dining destinations and surprising architecture and design at the heart of every guest experience.<br><br>Today, Jumeirah operates a world-class portfolio of 26 properties across the Middle East, Europe and Asia and employs over 9,000 colleagues, representing over 120 nationalities.<br><br>As Jumeirah continues to expand its global portfolio and scales up its operations to the next level of growth, it remains fully committed to developing and empowering our colleagues to excel in world class environments.<br><br>Jumeirah is committed to embedding equality, diversity, and inclusion in all its practices, embracing a culture that celebrates diversity.<br><br><strong>About the Job<br><br></strong>An opportunity has arisen for a Sports and Leisure Attendant in Colleague Services to join Jumeirah Group Services. <br><br>The main duties and responsibilities of this role:<br><br> <ul><li>Promote a fun and upbeat atmosphere for resident colleagues by expressing an enthusiastic attitude to build a community atmosphere.</li> <li>Assist in the planning, set-up and hosting of sports events and social activities.</li> <li>Check and follow up on the repair and maintenance of all sports and gym equipment.</li> <li>Actively participate in morning fitness classes and work with fitness instructors to engage with the residents from the community.</li> <li> Indoor and outdoor work will be required according to the shift, as per the operational requirements.</li> <li>Physical role with lifting, stocking, pulling, and pushing.</li> <li>Always maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.</li> <li>Able to work with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Complete day-to-day activities by following all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to residents and maintaining standards of excellence.</li> <li>Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety procedures, instructions, and controls.</li> <li>Provide professional services to residents in accordance with Group standards, operation, and presentation in a gracious and professional manner, whilst always ensuring residents’ safety. </li> <li>Handle and record all colleague feedback, questions and concerns to ensure issues or complaints are escalated to enable long-term improvements in the products and services.</li> <li>Perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably required.</li> </ul> <br><br><strong>About You<br><br></strong>The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:<br><br>Essential<br><br> <ul><li>Fluent in English language.</li> <li>1-2 years’ experience in a similar role with the hospitality sector </li> <li>High school Diploma</li> </ul> <br><br>Desired<br><br> <ul><li>Sports or fitness related qualification or equivalent experience</li> </ul> <br><br><strong>About the Benefits<br><br></strong>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
