These projects not only contribute to environmental conservation but also support local communities in Africa and Southeast Asia, promoting sustainable economic development.</p><p><br></p><p>As a Senior Operations Officer at Offset8, you will play a vital role in scaling the company. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the finance functions of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective financial management.</li><li>Prepare comprehensive financial and management reports to support decision-making and provide insights on the company’s performance.</li><li>Engage and collaborate with compliance service providers to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in the context of the carbon investment fund.</li><li>Manage and facilitate regulatory filings with Abu Dhabi Global Markets, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations and reporting standards.</li><li>Handle KYC and onboarding procedures with banks and brokerage companies, establishing strong working relationships and efficient processes.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a senior operations management role, preferably within the regulated fund industry.</li><li>Strong passion for nature and a genuine commitment to solving global warming challenges.</li><li>Demonstrated high emotional intelligence (EQ), enabling effective communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.</li><li>Proven initiative and a result-oriented mindset, driving operational efficiency and excellence.</li><li>A “start-up mentality,” showcasing adaptability, creativity, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Join Offset8 Capital Limited and contribute to our mission of financing impactful climate projects as a Senior Operations Manager.
