Absolutely!<p><br></p><strong> What you’ll learn &amp; achieve: </strong><p><br></p><strong> JOB FUNCTION: </strong><p><br></p>Owner of Program(s)/Scheme(s) where UL is operating or main point of contact with authorities/UL partners for the operation of certification programs.<p><br></p>Leads establishment of new capabilities and develop new service paths.<p><br></p>May represent UL in Regulatory/Technical Committees and Stakeholder meetings.<p><br></p><strong> JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Manages and implements large and complex projects. </li><li> Leads and supports team members for the operation and improvement of certification programs. </li><li> Interfaces with business leads and collaborates for the implementation of certification programs which meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders. </li><li> Fosters and environment of continuous improvement and leads process improvement initiatives. </li><li> May act as Program/Scheme Owner. </li><li> Leads engagements with internal and external stakeholders to continuously grow and develop UL service offerings. </li><li> May manage budget for operation and expansions of certification program capabilities. </li><li> Responsible to grow and develop internal certification capabilities and relationships with internal and external stakeholders. </li><li> Supports and directly resolves program escalations. </li><li> Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices. </li><li> Performs other duties as directed. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> What makes you a great fit: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Bachelor’s Degree Engineering, Preferred in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication or Mechanical Engineering. </li><li> Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the GCC Countries Certification Schemes and Market Access Requirements. </li><li> Experienced and knowledgeable in Saudi Arabia Energy Efficiency Program, GSO G-mark Scheme, Oman and Bahrain Certification Schemes, multiple areas of regulations and lead business decisions from COUs and other team members. </li><li> Experience and knowledge in ISO17065, ISO17067 &amp; scheme management. </li><li> Ability to independently operate certification program schemes, ensure scheme operating procedures match customer needs, and identify areas for new business opportunities. </li><li> Able to deal in the ambiguity and take decisions, support customer in understanding their problem and provide valid solutions based on knowledge of schemes and past experiences. </li><li> Good planning, organization and project management skills. </li><li> Natural influencing skills, confident and be able to deliver the message. </li><li> Excellent in communication, able to summarize requirements and describe difficult concepts in a clear way, network builder. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> What you’ll experience working at UL: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Mission: For UL, corporate and social responsibility isn’t new.
