At InterContinental Hotels & Resorts® we want our guests to feel special, cosmopolitan and In the Know which means we need you to:<br><ul><li> Be charming by being approachable, having confidence and showing respect.</li><li> Stay in the moment by understanding and anticipating guests’ needs, being attentive and taking ownership of getting things done.</li><li> Make it memorable by being knowledgeable, sharing stories and showing your style to create moments that make people feel special<br><br></li></ul>FINANCIAL RETURNS<br><ul><li>Assists in retails and membership sales.</li><li>Recognize opportunities to sell, add on sell and up-sell.</li><li>Develops and implements departmental marketing and promotional plans.</li><li>Compile and submit daily and monthly revenue analysis to superiors.</li><li>Supervises the day-to-day sales and costs.</li><li>Develops departmental budget and goals and ensure costs are strictly controlled.</li><li>Analyze and control operating costs.</li><li>On an ongoing basis, control and analyze departmental costs to ensure performance against budget; implementing corrective measures where necessary to produce positive business results </li><li>Effectively manage staffing costs by preparing efficient work schedules in line with legal requirements<br><br></li></ul>PEOPLE<br><ul><li>Assists Personnel in the functions of interviewing, hiring, departmental indication, performance evaluations, and coaching.</li><li>Responsible for on-going fitness training, assessment and motivation of Club members.</li><li>Interacts with guests as well as health club members and individuals in the local community.</li><li>Cooperates, coordinates and communicates with other hotel departments as required.</li><li>Attend scheduled training </li><li>Participate actively in employee activities</li><li>Adhere to specified hygiene and personal appearance standards<br><br></li></ul><strong>Guest Experience<br></strong><ul><li>Greets and welcomes all clients/guests.</li><li>Understand and respond to customer’s needs and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. </li><li>Report out preventive maintenance to ensure facility is maintained and in service for our guests. </li><li>Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and team members in compliance with regulatory policies and procedures. </li><li>Ensure only qualified persons such as in-house guests, members and guests who paid the entrance fee are allowed to use<br><br></li></ul>RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS<br><ul><li>Coordinate the deliverance of all recreational guest services.</li><li>Responsible for the safety of all guest services.</li><li>Manage all staff in this department.</li><li>Manage the sale and promotion of departmental products and services.</li><li>Access sales and marketing data.</li><li>Assist with the development of new products and services.</li><li>Assist with the evaluation of sales and marketing activities.</li><li>Anticipate economic business level fluctuations and makes action plans.</li><li>Comply with all Hotel and corporate guidelines (e.g. Signage guidelines, safety guidelines, etc).</li><li>Deliver high quality service to guests.</li><li>Adhere to departmental cleaning and maintenance programs.</li><li>Co-ordinate the maintenance of all recreational facilities and equipment.</li><li>Attend and input at management meetings as required.</li><li>Monitors the testing follow up of pool Jacuzzi chemical levels.</li><li>Participate in activities concerning protection of environment.<br><br></li></ul>ACCOUNTABILITY<br><br>Being a Health club Supervisor at one of the largest and most prestigious hotel chain in the world means that to maintain a high standard of service is imperative by keeping up the image of the hotel and providing a star class service by fulfilling your duties as a Health Club Supervisor in the most efficient and professional manner.<br><br><strong>Qualifications And Requirements<br><br></strong>The ideal Health Club Supervisor must possess a High School Degree, at least two years experience in a similar position (preferably in the hotel industry). Fluency of the English Language both written and spoken is essential and other languages such as Arabic, Hindi are also preferred.<br><br>Other:<br><br>Communication, both verbal and written, skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that. Also basic computer skills are required.
