The Assistant Restaurant Manager plans, organizes, controls, and directs the work of employee in the restaurant while ensuring guest satisfaction. Candidates must have a firm knowledge of the local market and effective communication skills in both speaking and writing Arabic, French and English is required. Must hold the legal right to work in Morocco<p><br></p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>The Assistant Outlet Manager will support the Manager of area in planning, organizing, controlling, and directing the work of employees in the Restaurant or Bar, ensuring guest satisfaction.</li><li>Maintains a working knowledge of food &amp; beverage</li><li>The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.</li><li>Excellent product quality at a fair price and attend regular operational meeting to ensure effective coordinate and cooperation between departments</li><li>Maintain the concept and position of restaurant or bar in the community</li><li>Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for all meals period</li><li>Selecting, training, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, within Restaurant or Bar to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; long-range strategic planning for outlet operation.</li><li>The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts</li><li>Provide knowledge and skill training to team, both on the job and classroom training.</li><li>Control labour and operating expenses through effective scheduling of FS full time employee and casual</li><li>Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.</li><li>Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.</li><li>Forecast workloads and arrange work schedules prepared accordingly to guest needed</li><li>Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food &amp; beverage computer systems</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>What You Will Bring</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>One to two years’ previous experience as Supervisor in Food &amp; Beverage outlet.</li><li>College education or equivalent experience.</li><li>Previous employment experience in a similar position with other luxury Hotels will be an added advantage.</li><li>Knowledge of food &amp; beverage service, cost control, labour control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.</li><li>Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food &amp; beverage computer systems.</li><li>Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in Arabic, French and English languages.</li><li>Require a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
