Job Description

<p><strong>Role Purpose: </strong>Maintains highest levels of service &amp; standards against the SQCDME KPI’s, ensuring principles are applied to control processes and management systems. </p><p>· Drives “Damaway” Implementation and coaches his peers towards operational Excellence through Best Practices and Manufacturing Standards </p><p>Improve both functional competencies &amp; CODE behaviors to create high-performing teams.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong></p><p> · Provide automation &amp; process control configuration, and on-call support for operations at 24/7 production plant.</p><p>· Perform fault finding, upgrades and process optimization on all PLC systems, SCADA &amp; HMIs, and redundant I/O servers, SQL servers and Historian Servers.</p><p>· Optimize automation systems and operator aids in order to reduce workload and increase efficiency. Attend to Automation related breakdown maintenance activities/tasks.</p><p>· Ensure that all breakdowns and preventative maintenance and/or scheduled maintenance activities are carried out to high standards of workmanship.</p><p>· Support process control-related activities of site capital projects to ensure all Projects and interventions in the Automation system and infrastructure are executed as per DEW Automation standards.</p><p>· Monitor and ensure that all required documentation is completed as per standard.</p><p>· Adhere to quality, safety, health, housekeeping, and environmental standards/criteria, policies, and procedures.</p><p>· Review/maintain/update related documentation, files, procedures, databases, drawings, and schematics to ensure the integrity of the unit instrument and process control technologies.</p><p>· Support and maintain Site Data Historian</p><p> </p><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><p> · Bachelor’s of Engineering in Electronics/Mechatronics (SCE Membership)</p><p> · 5 years of work experience in instrumentation within a FMCG, preferably Dairy industry</p><p> · Siemens PLC Programming experience, and understanding of SCL language, WinCC HMI designing and instrumentation, Servers (WinCC), VFDs (Siemens, Danfoss) and Servo Drives (Sinamics, SEW), Aspentech Data Historian</p><p>Knowledge of Instrumentation &amp; Process Control, including circuits, control systems of dairy operations, reliability and performance characteristics of process measurement, instrumentation, analyzers, control valves, and VFDs.</p>
