<p><span>Job Description:</span></p><p>We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management or a diverse career in finance, with extensive experience in cloud-based accounting systems and leading financial operations. Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, and other cloud-based task management software is essential. The successful candidate should be tech-savvy and capable of adapting to and improving current systems, while actively seeking ways to automate and streamline processes.</p><p><br></p><p><span>Responsibilities:</span></p><ul><li>Oversee financial operations within the company.</li><li>Prepare and present financial reports on a regular basis.</li><li>Lead the finance team in the preparation and presentation of financial reports.</li><li>Manage and govern data input and maintain data integrity in our cloud accounting system, currently using Xero.</li><li>Review and improve financial processes, with a focus on automation and efficiency.</li><li>Ensure accurate record-keeping across all financial transactions and activities.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the financial team and management on various tasks as required.</li><li>Leverage technology to adapt and improve upon current systems.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><span>Requirements:</span></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CMA, CPA or MBA a plus.</li><li>6+ years of financial experience, preferably within the property management industry.</li><li>Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and other relevant financial software.</li><li>Exceptional tech-savvy with a proven ability to adapt to new tools and software.</li><li>Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Proven track record of process improvement and implementation of automation in a finance function.</li></ul><p><br></p>
