Are you passionate about hospitality and delivering outstanding guest service?<p><br></p>We have a fantastic opportunity for a Guest Service Executive (Receptionist) to join our clients Front Office Department at a prestigious, modern boutique hotel located in The Greens.<p><br></p>In this role, your focus will be to anticipate and fulfil guests’ needs and desires, ensuring we exceed their expectations every time.<p><br></p>You will be pivotal in recognizing all our repeat and significant guests, building and developing personal contact with them.<p><br></p>Your proactive nature will shine as you constantly seek guest feedback and are always a step ahead in anticipating their needs and wants.<p><br></p>Your day-to-day responsibilities will be diverse and engaging.<p><br></p>Upon guests’ arrival, you’ll greet them with warmth, register them into our system, and present room keys nestled in our unique welcome booklet.<p><br></p>You will handle guest payments at the time of their arrival and take care of their billing details.<p><br></p>In the absence of a Guest Services Team Leader, you’ll be there to prepare all necessary amenities for incoming guests and those already with us.<p><br></p>VIP guests will appreciate your dedicated attention and personalized check-in experience.<p><br></p>In this role, it will be important for you to efficiently assist guests throughout their stay with any requirements and enrol them into our Loyalty Membership Program.<p><br></p>The Reception desk is your domain; you’ll ensure it’s always manned, operationally ready, and stocked.<p><br></p>Always upholding the highest standards of confidentiality, you will maintain the privacy of all guests in accordance with our security procedures.<p><br></p>Your detailed knowledge of all services and facilities of our hotel will be evident as you share this with guests.<p><br></p>Punctuality and professional appearance are fundamental, and you will consistently arrive for duty on time and in the correct uniform.<p><br></p>You will also manage the Reception Email Inbox, ensuring all communications are handled efficiently and promptly.<p><br></p>As a resourceful Concierge, you’ll provide advice, help make restaurant reservations, arrange transportation, and much more.<p><br></p>The ideal candidate for this position should hold a diploma or degree equivalent in hotel-related education and have previous hotel experience, either through academic studies or work. Basic computer knowledge, such as experience with Windows, Internet Explorer, and Word, is essential.<p><br></p>Experience with Fidelio/Opera and HotSos would be a plus.<p><br></p>You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fluency in English, and the ability to communicate effectively and respond well to questions and requests.
