We are currently seeking a Principal Process Engineer , reporting directly to Discipline HOD to join our Engineering team based in Doha, Qatar.<p><br></p><strong>About The Job</strong><p><br></p>Your main missions and responsibilities will be to:<p><br></p><ul><li>carry out surge studies using Pipenet Transient.</li><li>Develop and document Process Design Basis. </li><li>Carry out process studies independently. </li><li>Evaluate and optimize process schemes.</li><li>Experience with process simulation software (i.e., Aspen Plus, HYSYS, Pro II,Flarenet, Pipenet transient, OLGA etc.)</li><li>Provide assistance to the HOD, as requested, in the areas of schedules, estimates, progress reports, meetings, procurement, activities etc. </li><li>Assist, as required, in the development of department standards and procedures. Contributes to the development of a process knowledge database, capturing events and experiences and writing technical notes.</li><li>Assist with Quality Audits </li><li>Field experience including troubleshooting, start-up, commissioning, etc. would be a plus</li><li>A deep and thorough understanding of codes, regulatory requirements and industry practices. Experience with determining best practices and procedures while contributing to the development of new concepts.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills allowing for effective communication in multidisciplinary project teams involving representative from the client, other departments within Technip Energies Doha, and other consultants and contractors.</li><li>Results oriented, with good organization skills, attention for detail, and the capability of efficiently working simultaneously on multiple projects.</li><li>Develops process execution and quality plan for projects.</li><li>Optimizes engineering analysis and solutions produced by Process engineering teams.</li><li>Ensures that the operating, quality control procedures, standards and project specifications are followed.</li><li>Ensures good quality, schedule and cost of Process engineering activities within projects and/or operations.</li><li>Develops Process Engineers by providing appraisal of activities, training and coaching.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong> About You:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required. </li><li>Minimum 15 years of chemical process engineering experience in similar EPC environment for Onshore / Offshore projects and having experience in Concept & sizable FEED and EPIC projects. </li><li>Significant experience of team supervision and/or coordination.</li></ul><p><br></p>We offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity and pioneer spirit which drive our people.<p><br></p><strong> Inclusion Standards</strong><p><br></p>In our continuous journey to developing and building culture of inclusion, we adhere to four Inclusion Gold Standards.
