<p><strong>Role Purpose:</strong></p><p>To lead a team to effectively achieve the sales targets in accordance with company policies, procedures and systems in the respective geographic area and maintain a strong relationship with customers in an effort to ensure an accelerated growth while maximizing market opportunities</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Meet with team on daily basis to discuss daily operations/targets including journey plan using Road net and IDS compliance deviations and agree corrective action with salesmen after their field visits</li><li>Obtain and maintain knowledge of the sales and distribution channels and of competitors’ activity throughout the area, and share and discuss with the ASM for appropriate actions</li><li>Develop the weekly plans for the assigned area in line with targets and send those plans to the Branch or Area Sales Manager</li><li>Follow up –daily- on the sales plan and ensure implementation in the field as well as better customer service as per customers’ classification</li><li>Execute the agreements with local Key accounts, according to instructions and with alignment with ASM</li><li>Maintain good business relations with the representatives of Key Accounts in the area</li><li>Make and execute the daily journey planning for the sales men in the team in order to plan customer’s routes efficiently in alignment with company procedures and ASM</li><li>Conduct weekly work-withs (route-ride) in order to ensure SOP and standards execution and Salesman development through on the job coaching</li><li>Conduct Daily endorsement sessions and ensure usage and reporting with OPTSAL according to S&D policies and procedures</li><li>Organize and supervise the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of sales branch activity is carried out in an efficient, effective and procedurally compliant manner</li><li>Provide formal and informal feedback to subordinates in order to ensure their continuous development</li><li>Train own team in the field on Sales fundamentals and skills (Distribution, Coverage and Visibility) and update them periodically about company & Sales policies</li><li>Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing/Commerce/Finance or Diploma in Sales/Marketing</li><li>Strong preference for candidates in Dairy Industry. Candidates from food and beverage companies may also apply.</li><li>4-5 years relevant experience in Sales with at least 1 year in a supervisory role</li></ul>
