<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE:</strong></p><p> To assist in the development of the overall Audit Plan through assessing and prioritizing and in determining critical control issues and process enhancements in order to achieve audit objectives and goals and to monitor the audit assignments and auditors in order to obtain certain standards of performance.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: </strong></p><p> <strong>Core Accountabilities </strong></p><ul><li>Develop the draft Audit Plan by assessing and prioritizing the risks both within individual areas of expertise in the assigned audits areas and at the company level to ensure that audit efforts and resources are focused on higher-risk areas.</li><li>Review the audit program prepared by the team and prepare detailed scope of work or ad hoc requests in line with Audit Plan.</li><li>Obtain sufficient background information and knowledge and understanding of overall business process, and identification of key risks to properly plan and complete fieldwork.</li><li>Lead the team in Identifying critical control issues and process enhancements and in recommending corrective actions, supervising, and perform audits, covering all significant business processes, and developing procedures, schedules, and programs to achieve audit objectives and goals.</li><li>Prepare audit findings and recommendations from technical and compliance aspects to improve the quality of the result and review the findings and recommendations with the Director.</li><li>Review proper filing for working papers and record notes and obtain sufficient evidence to support audit findings and recommendations.</li><li>Supervise regular follow-up exercises to review the status of agreed actions (with reporting to AC / MD & CEO) to provide assurance or an updated status on the implementation of the agreed actions.</li><li>Maintains professional standard of work, keeps current with internal audit best practices, uses own professional judgment as and when required, and Regular contact with Department Heads/process owners to discuss audit scoping, audit interviews, and briefings on the outcome of audits.</li><li>Maintains sufficient general knowledge of overall company procedures, policies, and objectives to identify potential risk areas more efficiently.</li><li>Supervise the audit assignments, including consultant and auditors appointed from external firms, and supervises audit in assigned areas of responsibility to meet certain standards of performance.</li><li>Participate in consulting engagements and assist in overall projects and other related duties to give support to other professionals.</li></ul><p> </p><p> <strong>People Management Accountabilities</strong></p><p>Ensure that all subordinates have clear objectives, constructive and accurate performance feedback sessions formal annual performance appraisals, and individual development plans.</p><p> <strong>Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures</strong></p><p>β’ Adhere with direction for the development and implementation of organizational unitβs policies, systems, processes and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement to ensure efficient and effective operation.</p><p>β’ Comply with corporate requirements on adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to all relevant regulatory directives to ensure a safe and risk-free environment.</p><p> </p><p> Β· <strong>JOB CONTEXT </strong></p><p> Team Leader – Internal Audit will be located in Nadec Offices and will travel to other Nadec Locations as per business needs.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong> Β· QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: </strong></p><p> <strong>Education and Certifications </strong></p><p> </p><p>Β· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, auditing, or information systems. This education provides the foundation of the knowledge needed to carry out IA duties.</p><p>Β· Professional certifications (CIA, CPA, CFE, CISA, CRMA etc.) are preferred.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Experience:</strong></p><p> 3-4 years of experience in Internal Audit field.</p><p></p>
