Job Description

<p>As a D365 F&amp;O Senior Technical Consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing, customizing, and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.</p><p>You will be responsible for designing and developing technical solutions, providing technical expertise, guidance, and support to the project team throughout the entire software development lifecycle.</p><p>Your primary focus will be on the technical aspects of the D365 F&amp;O solution, ensuring successful implementation. In addition to core technical skills, this position requires expertise in DevOps, LCS (Lifecycle Services), Power Platform, and Power BI</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Solution Design and Development: Collaborate with functional consultants and clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical design specifications. Develop and customize D365 F&amp;O solutions using appropriate development tools and technologies, such as X++, .NET, and SQL.</li><li>Technical Configuration and Customization: Configure D365 F&amp;O modules, entities, and workflows to meet client-specific requirements. Develop customizations, extensions, integrations, and reports using D365 F&amp;O development tools and frameworks.</li><li>System Integration: Design and implement integration solutions between D365 F&amp;O and external systems, including third-party applications, legacy systems, and data sources. Develop integration interfaces using integration frameworks and technologies, such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, or Data Entity Framework.</li><li>Data Migration: Collaborate with the data migration team to define data migration strategies and execute data migration activities. Develop and execute data conversion programs, perform data mapping, cleansing, and validation to ensure successful data migration.</li><li>Technical Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve technical issues during the implementation and post-go-live phases. Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, end-users, and stakeholders. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.</li><li>Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement. Optimize D365 F&amp;O solutions to enhance system performance, scalability, and stability. Conduct performance tuning, code reviews, and apply best practices.</li><li>Implement DevOps practices and tools to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes. Work closely with the development team to ensure code quality, version control, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery.</li><li>Utilize Lifecycle Services (LCS) for environment management, code deployment, and overall project lifecycle management. Collaborate with the project team to set up and maintain development, testing, and production environments.</li><li>Leverage the Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, to extend the functionality of D365 F&amp;O and integrate with other systems. Design and develop Power Apps and automate business processes using Power Automate.</li><li>Develop and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards to provide insightful business intelligence to stakeholders. Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather reporting requirements and create data visualizations.</li><li>Documentation and Training: Document technical design specifications, configuration settings, customizations, and integrations. Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials. Conduct training sessions for end-users and technical staff as required.</li><li>Stay Updated with Technology Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, updates, and new features in D365 F&amp;O and related technologies. Continuously enhance your technical skills and knowledge through self-learning, training, and certifications.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong>:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>Strong experience in implementing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&amp;O).</li><li>Proficiency in D365 F&amp;O development tools and technologies, such as X++, .NET, SQL, and Visual Studio.</li><li>Experience with D365 F&amp;O integration frameworks and technologies, such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, or Data Entity Framework.</li><li>Knowledge of data migration strategies and tools, including data mapping, cleansing, and validation.</li><li>Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.</li><li>Relevant certifications in D365 F&amp;O or related technologies are highly desirable.</li></ul><p><br></p>
